t/2 – 3’Football is a party.
I played a few videos looking intently at the fans in stadiums where big matches take place. Everybody is there to have a good time, there is lots of chanting, some jump in place, there is music, they bring clappers, rattlers, vuvuzelas, matracas, most wear their team’s colours, or scarves, or wave flags. The taste and quality of the food and drinks they consume while in there does not matter much. They are there to see a ball going back and forth, up and down, swerving, rolling on the ground, gyrating in the air.
