Chapter 2

"Hello Dad, yes I'm here now, alright alright"

He walked to the awaiting car and the driver drove off.

"Ugh it's been a long day, it's nice to see London again, let me try calling her".

He called her but she wasn't picking up

"Well I might as well surprise her", he thought to himself and chuckled.

"Oh my goodness, how did you think of this, this is the most beautiful thing I've ever come across", I said gazing at the beautiful butterflies that surrounded us.

"I know you love them, so I had to catch a few and enclose them there", he giggled

"This is no few, this is a lot, I said smiling and looking at him adorably.

I had always loved them, Mum had always told us to appreciate nature, and we would always go to the field, and play around with butterflies and the birds, As I remembered those memories, a tear tricked down my eyes, I cleaned my eye immediately but he had seen it.

He turned me towards him, our eyes locking, he hugged me tightly, and told me not to cry, that my parents wouldn't want to see me crying, and that they were in a good place now.

I felt okay again, I smiled at him, and then we settled down and ate the cake he had bought, cracking jokes and all of that.

Then he took my hand and let me to our laid-out mat, then we sat gazing at the stars, and then it happened.

He held my hand and turned my face towards him, I felt like I would die of excitement, my heart was racing, and my n*****s were hard.

"I need to tell you something, I think this is the perfect time to say this to you Anna", he said searching my eyes.

"I know we've been friends for a long time now, our friendship matters a lot to me, and I know it does to you too, lately I can't think straight, thoughts of you feel my mind, and"…. he heaved a long sigh and continued.

"Anna, I like you, I do. I've liked you for a long time now, and I didn't know how to tell you about my feelings, cause I didn't want to make you feel uncomfortable"

He cupped my face and looked at my face, searching my eyes

"What the hell! I've been waiting for this day, whats this guy talking about, I like you too"! I thought to myself

He looked at me with those puppy eyes of his

"Dave, I thought this day would never come, I've been waiting for today. I've liked you for long, and I thought you didn't feel you didn't feel the way I felt. So I had always kept my feelings bottled up" I said shyly looking down and pouting, biting my lips.

"Damn, I didn't know you felt the same way I felt," he said, bringing my face towards him.

I stared at him and smiled.

Then he brought my face towards his, and we were inches apart, I felt so excited, my boobs were standing, and I stared into his eyes.

My phone rang and I picked it up

I slept off, the thoughts of him on my mind.

It was the alarm sound

"Anna!, Anna!, You will be late for school"

My aunt called me

"Oh my God", I was surprised to see the time, I was almost late for class

I hurriedly took my shower, and wore my pretty dress, making sure I looked nice, I had a boyfriend. I giggled and darted out

"Bye Aunt, I'm leaving now, I called out to her and hurried out, he was there beaming with smiles.

"Good morning sleepy head", he greeted

"Good morning" I laughed and he hugged me. He held my hand and I acted all shy, he smiled. We set out for school.

As we got to school everyone was whispering, chanting our names, calling us lovebirds, and all of that.

After classes that day, David told me that we would be going out on a date later that day, and I was so excited and looked forward to it.

In the evening of that day, I made sure I took my time to dress myself up.

It was our first official date, and I wanted to look the best.

Everyone in the vicinity knew that David and I were dating, it wasn't a new thing, Some of them were even surprised that we weren't dating before since we were always seen together.

I set out to meet him at the location he sent me, I was almost there before I met the other him.

"Finally, I get to see you again Anna", he said to me

"George?, oh my What are you doing here, I said smiling at him

George and Anna had known before he left for Texas to study, he was in love with her. Before he traveled, he confessed his feelings to her but was rejected.

Anna's heart was with David, he had made that clear to George, but it seemed to be that he was a stubborn guy and didn't want to listen, although he let her go that day he had promised himself that he would have her someday.

"I've been searching for you Anna, I even called you but you didn't pick up, How have you been? It's good to see you".

"I'm good, oh my I'm sorry I didn't know you called. It's good to see you too, when did you come back?

"Well it's been a few days now, you look really good", he replied.

"Thank you, I have an important place to be.

"With David I presume", he chuckled

I looked at him in surprise.

"You guys are the talk of the town, the lovebirds of the city, so I happened to hear some people say that".

Oh okay, I thought to myself.

At the end of the street, David was coming towards us, George happened to see him cause he was facing the avenue he was coming from, he enveloped me in a hug, too tight that I couldn't let myself out, it was a surprising hug.

David saw the hug and stopped short in his tracks as he watched us.

I'm back for what's mine, George thought to himself…..
