Chapter 3 A Counterattack

780 Words
"Have I been reborn?" Yvonne thought. Seeing that Yvonne was in a trance, Sarah intervened, "Yvonne, what's going on? Why are you dressed like that in the hotel with Jordan?" Yvonne heard the voice and gritted her teeth. "Vicious woman!" she thought, and she couldn't wait to rush forward and kill Sarah to avenge her father and Zachary Leinster. But she held back. Yvonne replaced the hatred in her eyes with tears and said pitifully, "Dad, Jordan tried to r**e me. Help!" "What did you say?" Frank narrowed his eyes and asked. Sarah, who had planned all of this, was stunned. She felt the coldness and hostility in Yvonne's eyes just moments ago. Unlike the obvious disdain and arrogance of the past, the girl seemed to have some new ideas. Sarah felt a little afraid, but still prepared to ask, "Yvonne, why are you at the hotel?" "Mrs. Mooney, didn't you ask me to come to this hotel?" Sarah instantly became anxious. "Yvonne, I know you love Jordan and you're worried your dad won't approve. But you can't secretly come to the hotel with your boyfriend... You're still a student!" Frank's face darkened slightly. Sarah spoke as if she had seen it with her own eyes. If Yvonne were still the hot-headed girl she used to be, she probably would have said, "What if I'm here to do something with him? Your mistress isn't qualified to educate me." But she had been reborn and was no longer the naive young woman who could be manipulated by others. Yvonne was very calm and said with a smile, "Mrs. Mooney, why are you so sure that Jordan Yale and I are doing something disreputable?" Sarah sensed something was out of control, but she persisted: "Yvonne, you've loved Jordan for a long time. But girls need to love themselves, and you can't do this..." "Jordan Yale, come out!" Yvonne glared at the man in the room. The room was separated by partitions, and the man with blood on his head left neatly after a while. His face was a little dark, but he still maintained basic politeness. "Mr. Taylor, Mrs. Mooney." Sarah was stunned when she saw the blood on Jordan's head. "Why? No, it's impossible." Sarah couldn't believe it. "Yvonne liked Jordan so much. How could she resist?" Sarah still didn't give up and asked, "But if you didn't do anything, how could your clothes be like that?" "Miss Mooney, as I said, it was Jordan who had plans for me!" Yvonne said, and then turned to plead with her father, "Dad, if I really did something wrong, why did I hit him so hard that his head bled? Mrs. Mooney came here with you and couldn't have known." Why did she insist that she had seduced him? Was Mrs. Mooney the one who called Jordan here? " "Yvonne, you can't..." Sarah continued to struggle. "Shut up!" Frank glared at her. Frank Taylor was a well-known businessman at Hiltonan and couldn't possibly not understand the current situation. She knew her daughter very well. Although Yvonne's actions were usually out of line, she wouldn't do anything absurd. What's more, Yvonne had just given him a hug, easing their tension. Frank was now more willing to trust his daughter. "Frank... I..." Sarah hadn't expected things to turn out this way. She rushed over to take Frank's hand. Before she could touch him, her hand was suddenly shaken. "Sarah Mooney, I'm always kind to you and your daughter. If you dare treat my daughter like that, you know what will happen to you!" Sarah's face contorted with anger, and Yvonne relished the sight. Not only Sarah, but also Zoila Mooney and Jordan Yale. One by one, she would punish those who had destroyed her family in her previous life. "Dad," Yvonne said, obediently holding her father's hand, "thankfully, you arrived here in time. Otherwise, it would have been... Dad, you must uphold justice for me." Frank looked at his daughter's young face and then into her clear eyes. She didn't seem to be lying. "Yvonne, don't worry. Dad won't let anyone bully you," Frank said, glancing meaningfully at Jordan behind the girl. By Frank's standards, he would call the police and send this guy to jail to teach him a lesson. However, this young man was different because Yvonne liked him. Yvonne loved Jordan so deeply it was almost mad. Frank was worried that the two of them were at odds. If he punished Jordan harshly, his daughter would blame him. Before taking any action, she decided to observe them for a while and make sure her daughter was truly committed to the young man.
