Mac’s eyes were cold. “Not me,” he said. “I did what you showed us to do — and bit its damn head off.” The window rolled up, and the Lexus backed away, leaving Kellerman looking after them. “Now what, boss?” Shorty asked, cruising slowly down past Pike Place, dodging tourists, kids, and the homeless.
