Chapter 15 SEATTLE (Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, 9 a.m.) — Mac again was escorted to an interrogation room, a larger one, with a wooden table, and chairs that matched. More people in the room today. “That’s not necessary,” Leatherstocking objected to the cuffs. The officers ignored him. Mac sat in a chair with his hands cuffed in front of him. “I’d like to talk to my client before we proceed,” Leatherstocking said, apparently repeating an earlier request. That too was ignored. Mac looked around the table. Leatherstocking sat to his right, perfectly dressed as usual. Rodriguez didn’t look as hostile as he had when he’d arrested Mac.
