On the far side of the old hotel, the trim little cabin cruiser was sitting close to the far shore of the Brown River with two long fishing poles sitting upright in brackets in the stern of the craft. One man, dressed in a light yellow short-sleeve shirt, some cargo shorts, with a wide-brimmed, floppy hat atop his head was sitting half in shade and half in the sun just behind the fishing rods.
