JOSHUA'S POV
My father steps down today which means I am going to be the next king of the fire kingdom, a task I know I am not ready for but my parents insist that I am old enough to take over the throne and rule the kingdom. No body is ready for anything my mum said, we face it when we happen to come across it I've heard news about the ice queen but have not had the privilege of meeting the brave and strong queen who became queen at a very young age and at this moment I wish I had her courage. All the same her story encourages me to take the throne, it tells me that nothing is hard to achieve once the mind is set to it.
My prince! What are you still doing in your room? Roared my best friend and right hand man, do you feel nervous about today's event? he asked. I run my hands through my silky hair and nod, I'm nervous man, I wish the floor could open for me to enter. Man up man, you can do this. Marcus encouraged me. I thought of asking Marcus about the queen of the Ice kingdom but forgot about and moved on, this is my world, my kingdom and I have to do this my way not how someone else did hers not to talk of a rival kingdom as well. I left my room with my friend for the ceremony.
THE FIRE KINGDOM. WRITER'S POV
The even started off on a joyous note with every one in the kingdom making merry . There were lots of drinks and food. The prince had given his speech so has the queen it was now time for the king himself to make his speech, the hall became very quiet with every body giving respect to the king. the whole kingdom wanted to know his reason for stepping down since he wasn't that old. In the croud were the Diana and elder Gideon but of course no one knew their intentions
they had a sniper waiting for their signal.
As the king approached the stage Diana's demeanour changed, seeing the man that killed your parents wasn't a pleasant sight to uphold but she kept her cool. Today is the day, he is going to die just like my parents be patient, she said to herself.
The king mounted the stage and all eyes and concentration on him. Diana said to Elder Gideon "it is time". Elder Gideon then signalled the sniper and at that moment a gun shot was heard with the king on floor. Every became messy with the everyone running for their lives. Diana and Elder Gideon left the venue as quickly and discreetly as possible before security was tightened. There was a sence of contentment in Diana but she also felt guilty for killing a person.
