“No, no, no," I mutter, stumbling away from the image of Kaden standing there in the doorway, hair brushes back over a cute forehead, clad in a black sport jacket and dark blue pants.
He gives the hallway one more wary check and walks into the room, shutting the door after him.
There's no way Kaden is here in the Alpha house, in this room. It must be the apparition again, that woman has messed with my head and now I'm seeing people. Soon, I'll be seeing things like wolves with horns, or a skateboard with wings.
Oh, goddess. I close my eyes. This can't be. I stumble into the bedroom, away from Kaden's surprised, confused eyes.
“What are you doing here, Viktoria?" he whispers. "You moved into the Alpha house? Are you insane?”
