EPISODE 3

The letters are out, they're out, there's nothing you can do about it Audrey. I told my self that so i could calm down or maybe feel better (So I thought). Silver lining Daniel's letter was Addressed to Model UN, so atleast he'll never find out how hard i was crushing on him after chubby Bunny.

I looked outside my window and i saw Marcus walking towards my house..

"What are you doing Audrey..

"uh.. nothing..

Audrey! Marcus is here! [Dad yells]

"Oh my god May you never saw me.

"But i did..

"you didn't okay? you thought you did but you didn't.

I jumped through my room window.

I was trying to commit suicide because I literally fell from the roof top.

But look at the bright side atleast i landed safely

"Ow!

I took my bike and rode off to a coffee shop. Well i felt like it was the best place to go and clear my head.

So.. i was struggling with a straw and when i turned to my side i saw Jake Miller staring at me. This was the worse and most Embarrassing day of my life.

"Hey Audrey

"H..he.. hey.. What are you doing here?

"What do you mean.. I'm just here to take down one of those Chocolate shakes..

"Cool! (That really came out weird)

"Actually Audrey i uh.. i stopped at your house, your sister said you'd probably be here. Look i just wanna be Super clear.

"Okay..

"I'm flattered.. i really am. About the way you described me in your letter but.. Klara and i just broke up so..

"Jake Miller are you trying to reject me right now?

"Yeah, it didn't really seem like it took back the first time.

"Jake Miller..I'm not trying to date you.

"Your mouth is saying something, but your heart is saying something different.

"What?

Maybe I should bring Jake out of his Illusion.

"Look Jake Miller uh.. here's the thing i don't actually like you.I just had to make it look like i liked you.. so someone else wouldn't think i like them.

"Oh.. okay okay.. who?

"What? you don't expect me to tell you that.

"You gotta tell me who this mystery Stud is, otherwise I'm going to go on believing you have a secret tattoo with my face on.

Is this guy joking.. who the hell does he think he is.

"No!

"Should i tell the whole school that you wrote me a love letter?

"Okay! fine fine.. um.. it's Marcus Randolph.

"Wait a minute.. doesn't that guy date your sister?

"Yeah.. well he dated my sister is the past tense.. he also got a letter so you can see how complicated and awkward that's going to get if he thinks i like him.

"Whoa.. whoa hold on.. I'm not the only guy that got a letter?

"Hurray! you're finally beginning to understand.

"Wow you really think you're special, then you find out she even wrote letters to two guys..

"Actually.. I wrote 7 letters so don't go feeling you're too special.

"What? you wrote Seven letters!

"Y..yeah.

"Damn Daelvino you're a player. Who else did you write letters to?

"If.. i tell you will you leave me alone?

"Maybe.

"Jaime got a letter too

"He's gay you know that right. Who else did you write to?

"Someone from graduation and someone i went to model UN with in fifth grade. Look they're all long stories, So.. are we good here?

"Yeah yeah uh.. we're good.

"Okay, great.

So I tried to rush home because i could not spend anymore second there.

"Not.. So fast is that sparkly bike out in front, is that your ride?

"Yeah (i actually nodded happily, atleast i could ride a bike, since am terrible in driving)

Jake Miller drove me home.. yeah it's complicated.

"Thanks for driving me.

"yeah sure.

"Sorry for the whole jumping you thing.

"Could have been worse right?. By the way what are you going to say to Randolph?

"I guess the truth.

"But yeah you know.. what is the truth? do you like him.. or do you not like him?

"It's not your problem Jake.

I jumped down and took my "Sparkly bike" and headed towards my house, then Jake rushed to me

"Hey wait.. What if you didn't tell him.

"What?

"Yeah what if we let people believe we were actually together?

"Are you telling me or are you asking me?.

"uh.. I'm asking you. i mean just for a little while and not just Marcus Randolph but everybody.

"Why would you want that?

"For starters when Klara heard you kissed me she went nuts. And if she thinks you and i are a thing, she'll want to get back together.

"Ohhhh.. so you wanna use me as your Pawn.

"No uh.. well you see.. technically you used me as your Pawn first when you jumped me.

(That's a little bit true)

Yeah he was right, i didn't know wat to say to him anymore so i just walked inside.

"Look Audrey you don't have to give me an answer now, just think about it okay?

"Okay yep Don't hold your breath.

Have i told you that i always Feel like Jake and Marcus were with me whenever I'm alone. Sometimes it feels so real that i even hear them talking but it's all in my head.

At school i went to see Miller on his practice ground

"Hey! Miller.

"Audrey..

"Let's do this.

You could see the smile and happiness on Jake Miller's face, then the unthinkable happened. Jake Miller kissed me on the Field!. And he's team mates were watching I wanted to give him a Punch But when i turned i saw them all staring at us so.. I didn't wanna embarrass him so i smiled yeah awkwardly. So i said..

"I'm gonna trig, have a nice day

"Yeah

"Carry on.

After classes, we sat under a tree on a stadium bench.

"So, Mr Miller first things first, we need to have a contract, so we're on the same page about the rules.

"You even got rules, come on Audrey you really know how to Zap the fun out of a situation.

"Exactly! this is a "situationship"

"is that even a word?

"It's important to know where you stand on certain issues.

[Jake chuckles] "Okay like what?

"For example i don't want you to kiss me anymore.

"Are you crazy? who's going to believe we're in a relationship? if I'm not allowed to kiss you.

"Okay you may be the Romeo of this kind of stuff but I've never had a boyfriend.(yeah i lied, I dated Marcus)

"Audrey you have the references of an 80 year old woman.What does that matter?

"Yeah it matters because i don't want all my first to be fake.If I'm making out with someone, I'm going to do it for real.

"But you kissed me first.

"Listen Jake Miller this is Non-negotiable.

"Fine. We need to figure something out because people are going to get suspicious, and if I'm not allowed to touch you.

"Okay yeah, you have a point, How about this? you can put your hand in my back pocket.

"Hand in your back pocket? What the hell is that?

"Sixteen candles, it's the opening image, it's a couple's thing.

"Yeah maybe in the 70's.

"Sixteen candles was in the 80's John Hughes?

[Jake shrugs]

"Okay.. Jake you have to watch sixteen candles with me because it's a classic, and we can never tell anyone this relationship is fake, because it would be too humiliating for both of us.

"Duh.. first rule of fight club.

"mhm hmm what?

"Are you serious Audrey you've never seen fight club?

"Nope

"Okay write it down, Double feature, after we watch the candles movie we are watching Fight club.

"Fight club.., Sixteen candles.. No snitching

"mhm hmm.

"Anything else?

"I could write you notes.. everyday.

"You'd do that?

"Sure. Klara was always on me to write her them, but i never did,so if I start sending them to you, she'll be pissed and it'll be good.

"Wow, how romantic.

"Also you have to come with me to my lacrosse games and parties.

"You have to pick up my sister and i and drive us to school.

"Okay. But you're coming on the ski trip.

Whoa. Roosevelt high school on skiing was famous for being the location where most students lost their virginity, than senior week and prom combined, I have never been on Ski trips.

"Um.. jake that's three months away, do you think we're still going to be doing this?

"Let's call it Contingency. But no one in their right senses would let their boyfriend go on their trip without them, So if we are still doing this, by the time it comes around,you have to go with me.

I'm certain that by the time the ski trips comes around,Jake and i would be ancient history ( or so i thought) and that's the only reason i said..

"Okay deal.

So we struck a deal.At first it was not a thing there was no feelings, no bond.. nothing at all.

It was another short holiday and our relationship was going to start fully in October.

On October 6th another school year started and Jake and i had fully started our relationship.
