Marianne's heart skipped a beat, she looked down, wallowing in regret.
As she thought to herself, "Did I just sign my own firing papers? What do I do now, oh my god! Mother always warned me about my wiggling tongue."
In discomfort, she feared what would happen next and didn't dare to lift her head.
"No one informed me the Quinn's suite was booked for tonight.
"Make arrangements, I need it for my party," Kelvin continued.
"Huh?" Marianne wandered, that was when she saw his ear pods and realized he didn't hear her. She felt a huge relief, and her pacing mind halted.
"That was close,"
she exhaled softly... And finally raised her eyes... Instantly, they met his, and then something shocking happened.
He winked at her, then walked into his office. Marianne's heart melted. She didn't quite understand what had happened.
"Did he just wink at me? But why? Does he like me now?"She said, confused yet blushing, it was obvious she had butterflies in her stomach.
She became eager to understand what the wink meant and suddenly was excited about going to the party.
"My red ball gown will suit the occasion," she thought of outfits she could wear to the party.
"Or maybe yellow? "No, red seems perfect," she kept blushing as her face swelled with happiness.

The halls of the event were filled with glorious men and women you would only hear about and could never meet in person.
Marianne walked fabulously through the red carpet, browsing through the hallway, hoping to meet Kelvin.
She spent a lot of time looking for him and soon decided to sit at the bar.
"What can I get you, ma'am?" ”the bartender asked . "What?...oh any thing soft," she responded nonchalantly. Her mind was still centered around that wink and was still pondering what it meant.
The bartender, who aimed to impress all the guests present, let out a smirk and then continued...
"It's the Quinns' party, ma'am. You can have the most expensive wines and champagnes tonight, yet you are ordering something soft?"?"
Marianne sighed, annoyed that he made her lose sight of someone who looked like Kelvin.
"And would that be a problem?…You know what, never mind, I don’t even want a drink."
She hastily stood up and, upon turning, bumped into someone."I am so, so sorry," she said repeatedly, and briefly her eyes met his drunken gaze.
"It's Kelvin oh my gosh! oh my gosh, this is so embarrassing," Marianne's thoughts rang loudly.
"You made it," he remarked with a cheerful tone. "Please, take a seat." He gently guided her toward the bar chair.
"Ensure my lovely secretary is served anything her heart desires," Kelvin continued.
Stunned by Kevin's expression, she reached out to touch his forehead then asked, "Are you okay, sir?" "Perfect," Kelvin responded, making an okay sign with his fingers.
Marianne stared at him for a while, she didn't utter a word. She was only surprised that her cruel boss was acting so nicely toward her.
"What would you like to drink?Kelvin asked with so much care, his smile was long and cheerful.
"Are you sure you didn't bash your head somewhere?" Marianne asked, concerned and wondering if everything was okay with him.
"Haha, you amuse me. I am fine, Marianne. Now let's have a drink, shall we?" Kelvin joyfully remarked.
"He got my name correct, does he like me now? Is he going to treat me better? I didn't know he was this nice. Could it be he is only nice at parties and mean at work? Maybe this was what the wink meant. In a split second, Marianne's mind wandered about every possible corner.
"What would you like to drink?" Kelvin asked again in delight.
I already told him I wanted something soft"
Marianne responded, now feeling relaxed, even though she still couldn't believe she was casually speaking to her boss, who had threatened to fire her earlier.
"Bullshit! It`s my party, and I demand you get high," Kelvin shouted in a jovial tone…
"What if I am alcohol intolerant?" Marianne asked cheerfully. “Are you?” Kelvin asked, hoping she was just making a joke.
Well...maybe if you agree to drink with me, I might not be."
Marianne smiled with a flirty grin . "Scotch, just the way I like it," Kelvin said to the bartender in excitement...
“Red wine, please,” Marianne placed her order, turned, and smiled back at Kelvin.

The night had grown deep, and the party arena, once bustling with energy and laughter, now seemed almost empty.
The party had gradually come to an end, with the majority of the guests leaving the bar and the party.
Kelvin and Marianne remained...they laughed so loudly, their voices echoing off the walls, as if they were old friends catching up over a drink.
“Oh! It's 2 AM already,” Marianne exclaimed, her voice tinged with both surprise and a hint of reluctance.
She glanced at her wristwatch, then added with a playful tone, “I really need to get going before Amy, my roommate, thinks I've been kidnapped!”
Marianne tried standing up, but collapsed right back onto her chair and let out a drunken laugh.
"Wow, wow! Easy," Kelvin helped her stand up...holding her waist to support her movement.
“Are you sure you are good? Can you even walk?" He asked smiling, “Of course,” Marianne responded, still struggling with her stamina.
She was drunk, happy and still astonished, to be having the best night with her mean boss.
“Let's go to my suite, you can relax there and leave whenever you feel better,” Kelvin said with a light smile on his face.
”No no…"I don`t want to be a burden to you,” she said, shying away from genuinely wanting to accept his kind offer.
“Hey hey, you are not a burden,” Kelvin reassured her, now holding her gently.
His hands firmly yet tenderly holding her shoulders as he gazed into her deep blue eyes, which sparkled like the ocean on a sunny day.
“I made you drink, it's my fault you are drunk so please allow me take care of you. It’s the least I can do.”
His voice was warm, laced with sincerity, as he tried to ease her worries.
“Fine, just for tonight,” Marianne replied, rolling her eyes.
She began to walk slowly, leaning on him for support, her movements unsteady and loose, like those of a child learning her first steps...

The sweet scent in the air rushed through Marianne`s nostrils as they both entered the suite.
“Hmm smells like roses, I love roses,” she said, letting out a drunken laugh and almost falling to the ground.
“Careful, watch your steps,” Kelvin said, guiding her toward the bed.
“This bed is sooo... soft I love it,” she kept on giggling like a child who found candy.
Kelvin sits on the edge of the bed and helps her take off her shoes; then he gets up to leave.
“You are going? Please don`t leave me,” she said, immediately grabbing his arm.
Kelvin smiles. “I won`t leave then.” He moves over to her, sits by the bed, and begins to take off his shoes.
There he was pulling off his shoes, as he caught her glance, that moment all he felt was her succulent lips inviting him for a kiss.
He leans forward slowly, his breath warm against her skin, and gently sucks on her lower lip, savoring the sweet taste as he caresses her arms, gliding his fingers softly up to her shoulders.
He then pauses, leaning back slightly to observe Marianne's reaction, his heart racing, while Marianne had her eyes shut.
"She wants this" he thought to himself and in the tension of the moment he rushed her lips grabbed her neck, and kissed her with so much passion...
This time Marianne reciprocates and kisses him back, she lead his head down to her neck and further more to her boobs.
Her body tingling from every touch, her n*****s hard and visible over her silk red gown.
Kelvin caressed her with care, he soon pulled down her dress and softly moved his tongue over her n*****s, he bite them smoothly.
The heat of the emotion grew as Marianne moaned louder.
Kelvin smiled at her, then led her hands down to his zipper, but then she withdrew her hands almost immediately.
“I can`t do this, It's my...
