I had strict parents. It is obvious they will prefer Vishal due to our childhood relationship, but to be sincere… I have fallen for Richard.
"Forgive me mum," I murmured. I looked at her stare deeper into my eyes. "Mum, I know what you asked are necessary questions, I should find out more about him. I need to know who I want to date before I actually date him."
"Good. I am glad you agreed with me, Jane," she said. She used her right-hand finger to dot on my forehead. "You should be smart."
"I want you to be careful with the kind of person you move with or date. I know that you are eighteen years of age. You are legally a full-grown lady, but you should not forget the fact that a lady without a good future is a liability to her household and the economy as a whole," she advised
