"Niklaus?" I could barely bring my voice out when I saw him standing on the other side of the door. I gulped, not knowing what the appropriate reaction was. But he didn't seem surprised by how fazed I was. He just smiled smugly, stepping ahead to place a little kiss on my nose. I was too much in surprise to even react, and I just blinked looking at the man in front of me in black sweatpants and a grey t-shirt with a black jacket, his hair half wet as if he had just showered. He looked so good. So good. And a part of me just wanted to jump into his arms, which I probably would have done, if not for him stepping inside. Sam looked at Niklaus with a very similar shock written on her face. "Flowers for the ladies," Nik said charmingly as he placed a large bouquet of flowers on the side table
