SERENA’S POV
I sat unmoving for a while, my eyes fixed on Antony, who looked just as shocked as I was. My brain scrambled to come up with the next course of action, while my heart pounded erratically, as if I’d been caught in the act of doing something terribly wrong.
“Serena?” he called again, snapping me out of my paralysis as I jerked up quickly.
The door wasn’t locked. What if he simply opened it from outside?
