{Kiera's P.O.V}
I stood there for a moment confused and full of adrenaline. A lot of emotions were running through my body. I was scared of what Dex may do to me, but furious that Samantha would trust a monster like Dex. Suddenly, as Dex grabbed a hold of my arm, my anger boiled over and I felt like my chest exploded. The adrenaline fuelled me and I felt a hot wave ripple from my body. The air lit up in a blinding white cloud and the air seemed thicker. I almost felt the adrenaline run out as I blinked my way back to reality.
I stood, shocked... I had never fought back in my entire life and all of a sudden I'm fueled by this confidence within me. I knew my wolf had helped keep me safe, but I couldn't believe I actually managed to fend of Dex and Jensons bloody stalker.
