It had been two weeks since the scan and everyone was so excited to say the least for the arrival of the new pups. Everyone in the pack knew about the pups and people had started sending gifts for the new heirs. I liked the sentiment, but there needed to be a cut off. I appreciated all of the little drawings the children sent and the cards people would write, but guilt filled me every time a physical gift was sent.
I wanted to make sure the gifts were put to good use so all items that were duplicated were donated to the children's orphanage straight away and everything else would be sent once we were finished with them. I also didn't want to offend anyone by simply giving everyone's gift away, so I had felt the pressure of making sure they were well received too.
