I was so happy that Kiera's first impressions of my childhood home were going so well. I really hoped my mate would be open to bringing our pups up in the same home I grew up in.
We had finished looking around and Kiera had asked when we could move in, when I received a mindlink from Callan.
He had been finishing off some paperwork for me in my office and had taken a call from William on my behalf. He asked if I could give him a call back, which immediately put Colt in a bad mood. He growled so loud in my head, it gave me an instant headache.
I squinted my eyes as Colts roar soared through my head and once I opened them again I saw the disappointed look on Kiera's face. She knew it meant I was needed or something had happened if I had received the mindlink.
I smiled
