Alpha Brett:

I make my way threw the quiet hallways of the hospital faint voices and machine's beeping. "Doc, what room are you in?'

"basement lab Alpha"

i made my way down . when i came in i couldsee she had Mira on the table in a gown , she was looking at something on her computer

"well what have you found out?"

I ran a few tests on her blood still waitn onthose results. her narkings are what im searching for now ,iv never seen anything like this before.

" carley what is you opion right now ?"

"well i really dont have one yet alpha. i might have a idea when her blood comes back?"

"well how long till that happens?' i wanted answers now , i needed to know if she was a threat to my pack.

she got up from her desk and made her way over to some box machine looked at the tiny screen "sorry Alpha it still has atleast another four hours."

nodiing my head okay i gl to leave walking over to Mira one more time i look over her i try and pull a string but yet again i am met with darkness i wonder around in the darkness trying to find a inkling of something but to no success. It was like she had a huge curtain that was locked down tight.

" do have a suggestion as to why i cant access her mind?"

"i wish i did , alpha im just as confused as you . if shes wolfless she should have any barriers in place ."

"no shes something more then human i can tell that much just keep digging let me know the seound you fnd some."

"yes alpha"

making my way back to the office i told my beta and gamma and will to meet me there .

i was closing my laptop when they walked in

"did Doc ssay anything yet?" Ryan asked

"no not yet few more hours till she even has a suggestion for me. Will did you notice anhting off ?"

"uh no, not that i can think of i didnt smell a threat when i approached her she was in a prayer postion. now that i think about it when i got closer to her i did catch a faint scent of fresh water , but there was no water soource near the area . Maybe t was her scent ?"

"it could be possible but that wouldnt explian why i smell something diffrent she could have been in a river earlier."

logan chimmed in "what about back tracking to the water source?"

i thought about uit for a minute it would proably be faint by now "no lets just wait on Doc , if it was doable by time we made it there her scent would be to faint ."

they nodded in agreement

"alpha?"

"Doc whats up ?"

"could you coem back down please." something was off with her voice it sounded pressed.

"Ryan with me , will logan you can go ."

we made are way down back to the hospitle "what doc want "

"im not sure something was off about it though."

when we got down tot he lab it was a mess Carley was unconscious on the floor and Mira was gone, no trace of anyone but doc.

"okay, uh- Alpha are you starting to get on edge? i'm starting to be alittle concerned."

"yeah things are getting strange with this one."

when doc finally came to i had the lab tech come in and try to slavage anything possible. "Carley what happened?"

"im not sure alpha. I was looking at the picture of her markings on teh computer when a caalming peasce set over me and then i was waking up to the Beta Ryan and my lab destroyed."

"so do you think someone came in and took Mira or did she do this ?"

"i dont know but i can pull up copies of the cameras"

i didnt know she set any up in here she moves across the room to a wall and pulls out a camera when she opens and pulls the card and hands it over to me ."

"im the only one who knows abot this one . "

"i wont ask why ." she nodds her head at my undertone

ryan hands over a laptop i insert the card what plays out is just even more confusing. Docs sittiing at the desk when suddenly she gets up walks over the Mira touches her head and then turns to the camera and unplugs it

i look at doc who just is now whiter then her lab coat.

"Alpha , I swear i didnt do that . "

"Calm down doc , you did it but you were definitely being controlled. It wasnt of free will ."

she visably relaxes knowing i dont blame her. "get bak to work , see what you can figure out from whats left.

me and ryan make are leave "Alpha, what do you thik about all this?"

"i dont really know i just hope the elder might have something , he should be here maybe tomorrow night "

we walk in silce to the pack house both thinking of outcomes or worse cses probaly, id know Ryan since we were pups his dad was my dads beta we were bestfirned sgrowing up it just made since. He cares about this pack. He would do anything to protect it and our families inisdes . he plays dumb more often but hes very intellectual. A goofy playboy if ypu would. But his postion alwasy comes first. "go get some rest ima go for a run"

"laken?"

"i am here Human, I know idea call to Goddess she will answer , we are special ."

"laken again with this. She thinks all wolves are special she made us, lets just run in silence ,i just wanna think in quiet "

i fell back and let laken have controle , being in wolf form had its perks i could judt be an idel onlooker. i never wanted to be in charge , but when tings got to bad i had to take over. laken had a whole episode and i had no choice , hes quiet most of the time , but he has a very strong Alpha Aura his insticts to strong . My mothe alasy saidth MoonGodess blessed me she had a vision about it befor i was even born. my mother had the ability of Foresight but somethings changed and her vision would change. she passed not long after my father fated mates sometime never survive the loss f ther other half.

i let laken lead , after a long run i deccide on a hot shower when i got back to the pack house i made a stop by the guest room Mira was staying in the room was stil a mess it was crazy how it lookeI walked around taking in alll thediffrent smells , just searching for any hint to hep figure out what Mira is.i i sopped where the had found her and looked at the cracks in the wall . I just kept being called to it i walke over and touched he biggest one , when i backed up to ook at the whole again i seen it .

"will did yall get picture sof the room?"

"yeah Alpha,I put everything oon your desk ."

i went straight up stairs , pulling them out looking and pictures of the markings Doc sent over , confirmed what i saw. they are exactly the same signs.

i put it on the side Elder Sterling would be here tomorrow. I needed to rest i felt like i was loosing it.
