Maddie:Tylor! faster we will miss the bus! They run as fast as they can and finally get into the moving school bus (PANTING) "Oh, s**t we almost miss that" Tylor said adjusting to her seat. "Here, have some water" Maddie offered her. Tylor: "It's okay, I am fine" As they arrived at the school, Tylor and Maddie were deeply engrossed in conversation as they stepped off the bus. In her distraction, Taylor's foot caught on the last step, and she stumbled, nearly falling to the ground. In a moment of grace, a hand reached out and caught her, pulling her into a warm embrace. As she looked up into her savior's eyes, she felt a jolt of electricity run through her veins. His smile illuminated the space between them, and she felt herself melting into his gaze. Was this chance encounter a mere coincidence, or a divine intervention that would change her life forever? Maddie's eyes rolled in disbelief, her thoughts screaming, 'Seriously, you're doing this now?' But Tylor and her rescuer were too lost in their own private bubble, surrounded by an imaginary soundtrack of swooning violins and soft sighs. The world around them melted away, leaving only the two of them, suspended in a dreamy slow-motion sequence. Maddie's sudden interruption was like a record scratch, jolting them back to reality. "Hello? Earth to you two!" she exclaimed, her voice laced with amusement. "Can we please return to the real world now?" Tylor looked at her quizzically, "What?" She replied "Let go of him!" She apologized hastily, removing her hand around his neck and adjust her dress and bag "Sorry" before the young man could even respond. Maddie drag her friend Meanwhile, Tylor's gaze lingered on the young man, a warm smile still plastered on her face, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment. The young man smiled back, his eyes crinkling at the corners, and scratched his head, looking endearingly flustered. (FRESHERS WELCOMING PROGRAM) Tylor and Maddie were seated behind the enigmatic Maddox, but their attention was elsewhere. While Maddie tried to brief her friend on the school's ins and outs, Tylor and Maddox engaged in a clandestine game of "spy vs. spy". Their eyes kept locking in a silent flirtation, exchanging sly smiles like they were sharing a secret joke. Maddie's exasperation grew as she tried to keep Tylor focused. "Tylor, are you even listening? You're grinning like a lottery winner!" Tylor's response was smooth as silk, "Why would I need a lottery ticket when I've already hit the jackpot sitting next to him?" Maddie's eyes rolled so hard they almost got stuck that way. "Tylor, you're impossible!" she muttered, shaking her head in disbelief. Meanwhile, Maddox's eyes crinkled at the corners, his smile hinting at a shared secret, leaving Maddie to wonder what she was missing. (Two days later)Tylor was stuck in a trance, her eyes locked on Maddox like a laser beam. Maddie, her best friend and self-proclaimed "partner in crime," chattered away beside her, oblivious to the intense gaze-fest unfolding across the hallway. "Maddie, yeah, uh-huh, summer was great..." Tylor murmured, her responses distracted and robotic. Maddie paused, noticing Tylor's glassy-eyed stare. "Tylor, hello? Earth to Tylor! What's with the zombie face?" Tylor's gaze remained fixed on Maddox, who was smiling back at her like a charming bandit. Maddie followed her friend's gaze and spotted Maddox. Her eyes widened in horror. "Oh no, no, no! Tylor, don't do it! Don't fall for the mysterious bad boy trope!" Tylor's eyes snapped back to Maddie, her face flushing bright red. "What are you talking about, Maddie?" Maddie threw her hands up in exasperation. "I'm talking about the fact that you're clearly under his spell! Snap out of it, Tylor! We have math homework to suffer through!" As the bell rang, Maddox winked at Tylor, leaving her in a tizzy. Maddie dragged her friend away, muttering under her breath "this is not happening..." The next day, Tylor and Maddox finally met in person, but Maddie quickly intervened, dragging Tylor away before they could exchange any words. This became a recurring pattern, with Maddie consistently thwarting their attempts to talk. One day, as they were boarding the bus, Maddox gallantly offered his hand to help Tylor up the steps, leaving Maddie to scramble up on her own. As they found their seats. Maddox: Hi, Tylor! (extending a charming smile) Tylor: Hello, thank you! (giggling) Maddox: No problem, my pleasure! (winking) Maddie: (dragging Tylor away, her eyes flashing with annoyance) And it's a pain in the ass for me! Stay away from my friend, Maddox! Tylor: (pouting, her voice laced with hurt) That's so mean, Maddie! Maddie: (her tone dripping with sarcasm) Oh, please, Tylor! You're acting like a lovesick puppy! We just joined this school, and you're already getting caught up in some silly Cinderella fantasy! Tylor: (her voice trembling) You yelled at me, Maddie! Maddie: (apologetic, her expression softening) What? When did I do that?! (hugging Tylor) I'm so sorry, Tylor. I won't do that again. At lunchtime, Maddox entered the canteen, and the girls couldn't help but stare at his charming good looks. While they called out to him, he ignored them and made his way to Tylor and Maddie's table. Maddox: (approaching the table with a confident stride) Mind if I join you, Tylor? Tylor: (her face lighting up) Yes, please do! (smiling warmly) Maddie: (raising an eyebrow, her expression skeptical) Really, Tylor? You're just going to let him sit with us? Maddox: (grinning) Thanks for having me, Tylor! It's our pleasure! (winking at Maddie) Tylor: (excitedly) I'm Tyler Robinson! Maddox: (extending a hand) Maddox Steven, but you can call me Addie! (smiling charmingly) Tylor: (her eyes widening) Wow, that's amazing! My best friend here is called Madison Steven Stwert, and she's known as Maddie! Maddie: (sarcastically) Oh, joy! (smashing her fork on the table) I'm just joking, of course! Tylor: (ignoring Maddie's sarcasm) So, Addie, what do you study? Maddox: (smiling) Art! Tylor: (dreamily) Mmm, an artist! So romantic! Maddie: (skeptically) Yeah, right! Artists are just heartless, lost souls who can't connect with the real world! (rolling her eyes) Maddox: (laughing) Oh, I think artists can be much more than that, Tylor! (winking) Try me... Miss Tylor! (smirking at Maddie) Tylor and Maddox quickly hit it off, bonding over their shared love of art and romance. Maddie tried to interject her sarcastic comments, but they ignored her, lost in their own conversation. As they parted ways, Maddie watched with a mixture of amusement and annoyance as Tylor and Maddox walked together, already deep in conversation. She realized that she was now the third wheel in their budding friendship, with Tylor and Maddox clearly smitten with each other.
