Theo’s POV
I lay back in the sofa and turn on a movie I’ve wanted to watch. I feel sad for a moment thinking about how Ivy and I used to cuddle here and watch movies together. They were some of the best times in my life.
Then immediately I feel the anger rise in me. What could have motivated Ivy to lie and tell me that Noah and Olivia are my children? Such a cruel thing to do!
My phone rings. “Hello?”
“Alpha, this is Sergeant Maple, I’m a traffic officer. We’ve had an accident on the highway at the edge of the Dark Forest.”
“That’s too bad, but why are you calling me about it?”
“Sir, the accident involved the Luna, she was driving.”
“Tiffany? Was she drunk?”
“No, not Tiffany. The true Luna, Ivy. The car went off the highway down a steep culvert. Flipping into a gully. It was bad.”
