As we drive away, Ryder is furious. “How can that woman disrespect you like that? She is disrespecting the entire Ice Moon Pack too. I could have killed her right there. She’s lucky I didn’t shift. My wolf would not have allowed her to stay living.”
“I know. She’s awful. This is Silver Claw land, we need to restrain ourselves. Tiffany’s karma is still on its way and I can assure you it will be harsh. Let me text Theodore and tell him any deal he wants is off.”
Ryder pulls off the road to give me space and time to write the text. He gets out of the car to walk off some of the adrenaline still coursing though his body.
“I’ll be back just now.” He walks off down the road.
