She rushes at me as if to slap me in the face. I grab her arm.
“Are you certain that’s what you’d like to do?” I ask her my wolf close to the surface.
“You can’t just throw me to the side like garbage! We have shared a bed together for five years. I could be pregnant with your pups. Is this how you treat the mother of your children?” She starts to cry.
I let her go. “You’re not pregnant. I’ve made sure that would never happen. You shouldn’t lie about such things.”
