Chapter 1- I am going to be married!?

“What do you mean by that father!? you arranged a marriage for me and I never knew it!?”

I was shock knowing that my father arrange a contract marriage, its like selling me with an unknown man who i never knew or meet.

I was beyond furious that I never go out of my room for 3 days, I know I might appear childish but I dont want to get married yet until I found out who killed my mother.

Remembering mother again I started tearing up. I miss you mom~...* hickk*

I was startled when someone knock on my door and It was butler Zou he wanted to convince me to eat.

“Young lady it isn't good for your body to not eat for 3 days...” he sound so worried so I open the door, well I was already hungry and I might aswell forget about that marriage thingy and eat.

Father doesn't even try to pretend he is worried about me, he only need me to keep his business steady,I am the heiress of my mother's business but father is the one who was called CEO.

but now he have the audacity to marry me like I am some kind of animal to be sold in the market, hmp I would never let him do that! I was lost in my mind that the maid tap my shoulder gently and telling me that all the food are at the table and she can eat comfortably.

I thank them and said that its their job, the workers here are the sweetest people.

after eating I spotted Butler Zou dressed up and it seems like he was going somewhere.

so I asked “Butler Zou where are you going?” but I think he didn't heard me so I just go back to my room, sat down,open my favorite book and read it. Only when I am reading I can feel that I am still alive, living here feels like I am dead.
