Truth Behind White Lies

As she closed her curtains and turned toward the mirror in her room see saw the horrible dark brown spot on her behind. she remembered when that was done to her. she was just a pup and it was only her second transformation by herself. Her dad and step mom warned her "Never let anyone see you true wolf form!" That night had been a full moon and the pack was supposed to go west towards the mountain state park. Most of the tourists stay on the paths but the state park takes up so much more space that humans can't travel. its a great place for some dragons to hide as well. Though no one has seen any dragons in eons. I headed to my secret spot right over the river that had white waters going on for miles. I had finally striped down and changed into my wolf. God when I was alone up in this. life u felt apart of the forest. I felt like I could feel the breathe mother nature took in and out. I could hear for miles on end. The rushing water hitting the rocks below. The fish jumping out of the water and making big splash noises. The birds were singing and I heard several woodpeckers hitting on trees. I took in a big deep breathe of fresh mountain air thought my wolfs lungs like it was the first time I could breathe. I pranced around jumping and digging at the dirt to stretch my body before I went for my run. I turned towards the cliff that went down. into the white waters and rain strain for it. at 5ft from the drop I turned right and ran as fast as I could jumping over downed logs and low tree branches. gravity helped me pick up speed as I raced down the mountain as fast as I could. when I reached the bottom right near where the rough ground stopped and the river started I jumped as high and as fast as I could. leeping from one stone to the next as if it was leap frog. I wasn't scared of slipping in the river at all. I could feel my whole body surgeries with power. Almost as if the energy was surging through me from my paws on the ground. As if mother nature herself was giving me more power. when I made it to the opposite side of the river I heard the sound I was dreading. The wolf packs howel was right where she was just standing on top of the cliff. "Why were they here? This is no where near where they were suppose to go. Maybe there are rogues near by?" my mind started racing over all the possibilities and how to hide looking like I do. As soon as the pack reaches the river they will be able to smell me I need to get home and change. She realized she left her clothes on the top of the mountain top. s**t s**t s**t she said as she rain as fast as she could the the more Northern side of the river. If I can make it to the bridge before they get to the bottom I can make it home. She pulled all her strength she had and ran as fast as she could to the bridge. it was in view as soo. as she hear the packs howling. They were less then 20 feet behind me. I knew u could make it back to the house but I couldn't let my smell lead them their. I ran straight for the school. I had hid and extra set of clothing around the school encase this type of thing happened. I was able to get to my clothes and quickly change at the pool bathrooms. As I was walking back to home I heard the pack running back to the school grounds. I Hide behind the pizza restaurants dumpster as the wolfs ran by at top speed. As soon as I Breathed a sigh I looked up to a dark black wolf hovering over me. I immediately knew wh ok it was, my step brother. He smiled in wolf form showing his impressive white sharp fangs. I stood up and told him I'd see him back at the house. He grunted and nudged me with his head pushing me towards home. I know I'm going. I know I'm in trouble." I sighed and dropped my head as I walked back home. my step brother on the other hand looked a little too happy trotting off towards the school. I knew my step brother would tell my step mom and I'd be in big trouble. the pack had smelled and followed me. they may think there's a new rogue living close by and ill be in trouble for causing more pack problems. I got home and waited on my bed doing nothing in fear of what else might cause more problems. it was an hour before my step brother and step mom came home. Dad always stayed later because he was the Betta of the pack. my step mom would punish me. My step mom slammed the door yelling for me to c ok me down the stares.I came down as fast as j could not noticing my step brother was waiting around the corner by the second set of stairs. right before I stepped down on the second set of stairs qhen I felt a hard showve from behind me. My step brother had been waiting to push me down the stairs. I fell in slow motion. I felt my bones break as I hit each step. The pain was so blinding I only saw white and black spots when I landed on the ground floor. My step mom walked over to my body crumpled on the floor. "I told you Never to change into your wolf. You endangered all of us including your father. The pack thinks there's a rogue hiding near the village now and will have more gaurds. How stupid could you be?" she yelled and then kicked me in my ribs so hard she cracked two more. I didn't dare to scream it always made it worse. tears were streaming down my face as I layed as still as possible trying to breathe. "I think she needs to learn a lesson mom. Like th old days." The last words sent a chill through my whole body. "Your right. Bringbher over here near the fire place. I know what will remind her every day NOT to disobey me anymore." My step brother grabbed my arms pulling me on the ground into the living room. the bones in my arms that had cracked sent pain stabing into me. I screamed as he dropped me on the floor. "flip her on her stomach and sit on her back. Now listen carefully. If you Ever Change into your wolf in these pack grounds again I will Kill you." I watched as my step mom grabbed a iron fire poker and stuck it in the fire. She was going to brand me. I tried to struggle to get my step brother off of me. I started to scream but he stuffed a cloth in my mouth Mifflin my voice. Qhen my step mom pulled the iron poker out it was glowing red. My step mom sat on my legs as my step brother held me down. Cindy laughed as she dug the iron rod into my butt cheak and upper leg. she burned a star into my thigh and butt. I could change into wolf form to heal fast. After she was done I had passed out from the pain. I didn't wake until the next morning
