|| Author POV || A handful of days slipped by. Since that night, the alley haunted Rosa but she still had to pass through it. Moonlight lacquered the Salvatore mansion in cold silver as Rosa entered inside after her café shift. She climbed the stairs and let the cold shower rinse the city’s dust. It was summer already. Killian already told her not to keep herself locked in her room but the library was a mausoleum of silence. So Rosa walked to the vast hall instead.
