“If he talks, make sure he never talks again.” Killian spoke over the phone call.
Rosa’s fingers tightened around the edge of the door hearing his words. What did he mean by that? What is he talking about?
That voice, it wasn’t threatening. It was calm. Too calm.
And that’s what made it terrifying.
Killian’s eyes shifted feeling a presence behind him. He slowly turned, catching Rosalie standing in the doorway staring straight at him.
Without a word, Killian quietly ended the call. His brows knitted tightly as he studied her.
“What are you doing here?” he asked, stepping closer.
Rosa bit her lip but didn’t hesitate. She closed the distance quickly before wrapping her small arms around his torso, holding him tight.
