“Boss arrived.”
One of the guards announced, and instantly the conference room fell silent. Everyone straightened in their seats, tension thick in the air.
As the door opened, the devil himself walked in, his eyes straight, cold and emotionless.
Every man in the room stood up in respect while he took his seat at the head of the table.
“Good noon.”
Killian’s voice was deep, calm, and chilling.
“Good noon, lord.” they greeted back.
One of his guards approached with a file in hand and passed it to the devil.
Killian flipped through the pages briefly before setting it down on the desk. His next words made everyone’s blood run cold.
“I heard someone’s f*cking with me.”
He spoke sarcastically, his tone sharp but emotionless, not angry, not even disappointed. Just numb.
“Behind my back.”
Everyone exchanged anxious glances, silently wondering who would dare have the courage to cross him, the lord of all, the Mafia Lord himself.
Killian’s blank eyes swept around the table. Every man seated there was powerful in his own right, but none compared to him.
Then, a voice broke the silence.
“Boss, should I bring the paper—?”
The guard instantly froze, realizing the grave mistake he had just made. His face went pale as the others turned toward him, horrified.
Breaking his rules brings hell upon their lives.
Speaking without his permission was the ultimate sin.
Everyone could feel the devil’s fury simmering beneath his still expression. The foolish guard trembled violently, realizing what he had done. Desperate, his instincts told him to run but before he could even reach the door…
A deafening g*unshot tore through the room.
Everyone flinched, their hearts pounding as they turned toward the sound. But no one showed sympathy. Not a single one. They were all beasts in suits.
The guard’s body hit the floor with a heavy thud, blood pooling beneath his head.
“Clean the mess. Right now.”
Killian’s voice cut through the silence like a blade.
The other bosses straightened immediately, faces stone-hard, while the remaining guards shaking with fear, dragged the lifeless body away.
The room went quiet again.
The devil calmly placed the gun back on the desk.
“Bring the papers.” he ordered.
Another guard nodded quickly, disappeared, and returned with a file. Killian took it and signed without hesitation.
“I need everyone’s signatures here.” he ordered, handing the file back to the guard.
No one dared to question him.
Each man signed in silence, passing the file along until it returned to the devil’s hands.
Killian glanced over the pages, a small smirk tugging at his lips.
“Chaos with me,” he murmured with a low chuckle before lifting his evil gaze again.
“Those who’ve signed may leave.”
At his command, the men hurried out of the room, one by one.
Once everyone was gone, Killian handed the file to his trusted guard.
“Send it to the head office. I want them to find the fake signature within a few hours.” he said, his tone calm yet lethal.
The guard bowed quickly and rushed out.
Killian leaned back in his chair, eyes sharp and lips curled faintly.
“Playing with danger!”

Rosa stood outside her house. She knew why she was scared to go inside. Kevin!
Knowing nothing could help, she stepped in and seeing no one there, her heart finally felt relieved. Rosa immediately ran upstairs.
Today, she had some extra time, so she thought to come home and get ready for her job from there.
After a fresh shower, Rosa took her phone and walked downstairs, her heart thumping hard.
She stopped on the last step when she saw her aunt walking toward her. Rosa straightened up, pressing her lips together.
“How was your day?” Carolina asked, approaching her steady frame. Rosa looked up. “Good, mum.”
“You’re going to the café?” she asked again. Rosa nodded quietly, and Carolina hummed in acknowledgment.
“Go then.”
Rosa looked at her with her usual soft eyes, big and round. She nodded slowly, then stepped out of the house while Caroline watched her go.
“Sometimes, I just don’t feel like throwing her out of the house.” Carolina sighed.

Season, frostfall—Enchanted ivy café
Rosa walked toward a specific table, carrying a tray in her hands, her face glowed with a soft, beautiful smile. She approached the trio seated there.
Placing the tray on the table, she smiled and bowed slightly. “Hope you enjoy the meal.” Rosa said, standing straight.
Just then, she heard cheerful shouts from the main door of the café. Her eyes darted toward the glass entrance, where everyone had turned to look.
Rosa’s eyes sparkled at the sight of soft snow falling outside, visible through the glass door.
Without realizing it, her body turned toward the scene, watching how beautifully the snowflakes floated.
Her eyes glowed with pure bliss. She hadn’t witnessed snow in years.
An irresistible urge to run outside and touch the flakes rose in her heart. Rosa wanted to feel them, to play with them, to see their beauty up close.
Her lavender eyes softened, round and starry, like tiny galaxies reflecting the falling snow. Her lips, naturally cherry red, added to her delicate beauty.
Her gaze shimmered as the world outside turned white under the thin, glistening layer of snow.
Meanwhile, the young man with black hair entered the café hurriedly. Outside, light snow was falling as if announcing the arrival of winter. But the man stopped in his tracks, struck by what he saw. Rosa.
His heartbeat shifted into a strange rhythm at the sight of her soft face.
He couldn’t look away from how innocently she gazed outside. It didn’t take long for him to realize what had caught her attention. Snow.
But soon, he was lost, completely drawn to those soft, gleaming eyes. The most beautiful part of her.
Eyes that shone like amethyst stones.
His hands curled into fists as he watched her, ethereal, delicate, and unintentionally enchanting.
“Rosa?!”
Her trance broke when her co-worker called her name. “Y-Yes, coming!” she replied, turning quickly.
But before she could move far—
“Oh, hi, Rosa.”
Rosa turned again and found the familiar man walking toward her. She froze, pressing the tray against her chest.
He stopped in front of her, his tall frame towering over her smaller one, and Rosa looked up curiously.
“You remember me, right?”
He asked with a genuine smile. Rosa blinked, trying to recall, then looked past him as if searching her memory. Turning back, she said, “You’re that senior, umm… I-I actually forgot your name.”
“Ivan—”
“Oh yeah! I remembered!” she said quickly, nodding with a little smile as soon as she recalled.
Ivan chuckled softly, his gaze fixed on her cheeks and he admired how cutely she reacted.
Rosa immediately bowed. “Welcome here.” She straightened again with her usual gentle smile.
“No need to bow, it’s okay. My friends are right there,” Ivan said, pointing toward a the very one she had just served.
“Oh! They’re your friends?” she asked, blinking between him and the group. “Take your seat. I’ll be there in a moment.”
With that, Rosa turned and walked away, bowing slightly again before leaving.
Ivan smiled to himself before joining his childhood friends.
“So, mister, you finally came! We thought we’d have to send a Mercedes to fetch you.” one girl teased.
“Stop cracking jokes. How are you all?” Ivan asked with a light laugh.
Few minutes later, Ivan’s eyes were fixated on Rosa who was working behind the counter.
“By the way, mister, who’s that girl you’re staring at?” his friend Clara asked teasingly.
He looked back at them, chuckling. “Her?”
He turned again, eyes drawn to Rosa.
“I don’t know what it is, but… she stole my heart without even trying. She doesn’t even remember my name.” he said, his gaze softening before he looked at the coffee cup in his hand.
His friends exchanged knowing grins. At last, it seemed this boy had fallen for someone.
“She’s so precious.”
