Days past after Pat spiraled out of control. The hacienda was much beautiful than before. The plants and crops became healthy while the ground was more lush with grass.
“What are we doing today?” Trish asked Edith.
“I wanted to go to town. Will you join me?” She asked Trish. She knew her hermanita won’t say no to her. She grabbed her hand and led her to the kalesa. She already asked their hermana for permission before Trish could say yes.
“I have not said yes, yet you prepared a kalesa already. What if I say no?” Trish teased her. She had a mischievous demeanor again.
“Stop teasing me. Please, I am surrounded by mischievous sisters and now my mate as well. Give me a break for a bit.” Edith then raised her foot to step into the kalesa. She did not wait for her hermanita to respond.
