It was still very early when I woke up to an empty bed and a soft light coming in through the curtains. I could not recall if Bravyn had mentioned leaving that morning, and he was nowhere to be found. Given the delicate situation we were in with Lydia's story, I figured he must be out running errands because he would not just disappear without telling me.
