While they were on the way Levi brought up an issue.
"why can't we just get a real marriage certificate. I mean its easier that way"
"what's the issue with a fake one"
"(in a sad tone) never mind about it"
The two just went to a cyber and published a fake certificate after which they went back to their new home, Levi's house but they first passed by Dorie's house to pick up some things. As the two were packing they noticed a letter from Dorie's aunt, Camilla. On opening the letter stated:
"To: my dear Dorie
Hi my fav relative! I am going to have a wedding at the Esteemed Gardens and I could not imagine not inviting you. The wedding kicks off at 9:00 am and hopefully it will end at 7:00 pm. I hope that you will come to celebrate with me on this day of joy
From: your loving aunt, Camilla "
Dorie took one look at the letter and tore it
"why did you do that Dorie"
"I hate hypocrites"
"but she's your aunt so at least show her some respect"
"you speak so highly of her as if you know her"
"she seems like a really nice person"
"and what would you know about my family"
"well... nothing"
"I thought so"
and with that Dorie left the room with the suitcase in hand. Levi just followed but at a distance. He just thought to himself
"when will I finally be accepted. It seems like I'm chasing someone who will never acknowledge me"
The two just took a taxi back to their new home but the whole way they didn't utter a single word to each other.
~At Levi's house~
Dorie just helped herself to the guest room. Levi followed him.
"don't you think we should just sleep in the same room. Its also more couple like to do that"
"do you have a a problem with me in the guest room"
"well... no but since we're a couple don't you think its best for us to sleep in the same room"
"not interested"
"okay... I'll respect your decision."
"thankyou now leave"
"you don't have to be so harsh"
"but I really want you to leave my sight"
"but if you need me you know where to get me"
Levi left and Dorie. The way they argued really hurt Levi's feelings but what could he do he was used to such behaviors ever since they became friends. He even began asking himself whether they were really friends. The day passed and the next morning there were some breaking news that shook both Levi's and Dorie's worlds. Apparently there was a fire outbreak in a certain familiar district that took down large buildings and among them was the house to a very famous person, Qui Li, Dorie's grandmother. The news stated that the fire was said to begin at midnight and the death toll was around 100. Dorie quickly dialed her grandmother's number but no one picked up and when she was about to give up someone answered the call and it wasn't her grandmother. The voice of the one who answered the call was quite familiar.
