Trapped into Love

Chapter 7

Sabrina Meyers (POV)

I was awakened by the chirping of the birds outside. I rub my eyes and opened it slowly. My eyes literally widened as I look around the room. This is certainly not my room. I'm sure about it because the room is filled with a manly scent.

I turned around only to come face to face with Caden. His eyes are still closed. And I can say that he's still asleep. Instead of shouting out loud after discovering the fact that I'm sleeping in someone else's room, I just keep quiet and stared at his handsome face.

Without having a second thought, I raised my hand and touch his face. He is sleeping like an angel. He is still handsome even if he is asleep. How can those women resist this kind of face.

My fingers moves from his forehead to his nose until it came in contact with his lips. Yes, those lips. I've been kissed by those lips but I didn't respond to it. What would be the feeling of responding to his kiss?

Images of him giving me a kiss came across my imaginative mind. I even bit my lower lip because of it.

"Are you done checking me out?" he said as he opened his eyes. I immediately took my hands away from him and look at the ceiling.

How stupid am I? How did I not know that he is already awake.

"Nah, I'm not checking you out. I'm just - just wiping away the dirt on your face," I replied making him laugh.

"Okay, whatever floats your boat," he said. "But, am I handsome enough?" he added.

I can feel my face reddened at his remark. I know it when I blush. My face instantly heats up. "Who told you that you're handsome?" I asked raising an eyebrow. I faced him but that was a very wrong move for me to do. Now, our faces are just inches away from each other.

"A lot of people," he replied as he uses his thumb to touch the tip of my nose. And, I can't deny the fact that I felt butterflies in my stomach just because of that small act of him.

"A lot means? Those women who you slept with?"

Caden meet my eyes and starts to tickle me. I was not expecting that from him causing me to let out a laugh. I didn't know that he also has a side of being a playful man.

"Nah, st-top!" I said but he just continued with what he is doing.

"Nope. Not until you tell me that I'm hot and handsome!" he said while tickling me.

He didn't stop tickling me until I fully shouted at him to stop because I can't breath. He was already on top of me when he stopped tickling me. My laugh immediately fades as he seriously stared down at me. I even saw his adams apple moves up and down.

We stayed like that, him being on top of me, for minutes until he made a move. He slowly leaned until his lips touches mine. He kisses me passionately and I didn't do anything to stop him. After sometime, I found myself responding to his kisses. We stayed like that, kissing each other, until I feel one of his hands wandering my body. That's when I collected some strength and push him. He fell on my side.

"s**t! Why did you do that?" he said.

"Nah, that was - that shouldn't happen," I replied. I felt a sudden change of atmosphere after that kissing happen. A part of me is happy because that thing happened. I don't know why. I don't want to accept the fact that I'm slowly falling for him.

"What the- we're married. Why can't it happen?" he asked me teasingly.

"You know what I mean. Come on Caden. I know that you don't want to be trap in this marriage. You have your own life," I replied as I push myself up of the bed. I sit on his side.

He looks up at me. "Still, we're married. Can we just have some fun?" he asked.

"So, you see me as the woman you can have some fun with? Nah, that's not me. Look for another woman," I replied making him laugh.

"Why are you laughing?" I curiously asked him.

"I'll never treat you how I treated those woman," he seriously said to which I shrugged my shoulder.

"Really huh?"

"Really, and if you want, I can show you how I wanted to treat a woman that I think will accompany me until my last breath," he said as he pulled me back down on the bed. He adjusted himself and just like that, I found myself being cuddled by him.

"What if you stay here from now on," he suddenly said after minutes of silence.

"Why would I?"

"Because I said so. Remember, this is my house and you should follow my rules," he replied.

I'm about to say something when I feel him rubbing my belly. "C-caden," was all I said to which he replied with a hush. Then, he leaned forward and kissed me on my neck. The thing he is doing made me close my eyes.

I don't know what happened but I just found myself clinging to him. Allowing him to touch me. "Can you stay with me everynight?" he said in his husky tone.

I'm about to answer him when he covered my lips with his. Instead of protesting, just like how my mind wants me to do, I even pulled him closer to me and deepen the kiss.

We just stayed there touching each other until I finally have my senses back and ask him to stop to which he did. We just stayed on the bed cuddling taling about things happening around us, especially to the company.

We talked for a while before I went to my room. I take a bath and changed into something that is presentable. I'm not going to the office today. I'm going to call my secretary Luz that I'll not be in the office. I just want to stay in the house and think of what is going on with me.

I waited for Caden to go to his office before I went out of my room. Once I heard his car driving away from the house, I strode out of my room.

I was meet by Magie in the living room. "Good morning Magie," I greeted him. She was about to say something when Roger appeared from the kitchen.

"Good morning Sabrina," he greeted.

"Good morning Roger," I greeted him back.

"Are you not going to the office today?" Magie asks to which I nodded.

"Yes, I'll just stay home and do my work here. I'll just inform my secretary later," I replied. Magie smiled at me. Her smile is different from the smiles she give me from the previous days.

"Why are you smiling like that?" I curiously asked.

"Well, Caden, is happy when he left. Maybe you have done something that made him happy. And we're glad because we rarely see him smile while eating his breakfast," says Roger who si giving me a cheerful smile.

"You really are happy when you see him happy. How I wish to have people like you in my life," I replied. I'm really jealous at how Magie and Roger treats Caden. They treat him like their own son.

According to Caden, Magie and Roger can't have a child so they decided to stay with their family and serve them. When Caden becomes older, they decided to give them all the love to him.

"Of course, our Caden is like our real son," says Magie that brought me back to my senses.

"I'm really jealous of him. Despite the fact that he is - Uhm, kind of arrogant," I said that made them laugh.

Yes, I once witness how he treats his employees arrogantly. He even treated me arrogantly when I asked him about his serious relationships. That time, he talked to me bluntly. And, I swear, I never asked him about that again.

We were talking at the living room when we heard the doorbell rings. "Are you expecting a visitor?" Magie asks me.

I shake my head. "No, I'm not expecting anyone," I replied.

"If you're not expecting someone to visit you? Then, who would come this time and ring the bell?" says Magie.

"Fine, stay here. I'll just open the door," says Roger before walking out of the house.

We are about to go to the kitchen when a girl confidently entered the house calling for Cadens name. "Caden honey are you here?" she asks. Roger is following her from behind. When her eyes landed on us, she stopped on her track.

"Are you the maids here? Where is my Caden?" she asks.

I look at her from head to toe. Is this another woman of Caden? I feel a pang of pain in my chest as I thought of the possibility that she's really one of those girls Caden has been sleeping with before marrying me.

"Ah, no. This is actually Caden's wife," says Magie. Annoyance is visible in her voice. Why would Magie be annoyed with her.

"Ah, this woman is his wife? Hello, I'm Raine. Raine Stefan, his ex-girlfriend for almost four years," she said eyeing me from head to toe. "Didn't he say anything about me?" she added.

"I- C-Caden is not telling stories about his ex-girlfriends."

"Oh, I see. Maybe it's because, he is still into me after all this years," she said.

"Caden is not here," Magie says.

"Oh, yes. Aw...he is not here. I texted him yesterday but why did he went out."

"Y-you- texted him?" I asks making her smile.

"Yes, you don't know about it?" she annoyingly asked.

"Ah, yeah. I remember now. So, you - you're the ex he doesn't want to see? I see. But hey, good luck on looking for him," I replied. I don't know what has gotten into me but I want that woman to know who am I.

"Yes, and oh, he is about to prepare a date for me. I hope you know that," she said before turning on his heels.

We watch her walk out of the house. I feel a sudden pain in my chest after that Raine was out of sight. Knowing that Caden is still contacting his ex-girlfriend pained me.

Caden Stewart (POV)

I closed my eyes and leaned on my swivel chair. My thought is occupied by what happened last night. The call that I received from my ex-girlfriend. After almost three years, she finally contacted me. But why do I feel like I'm not missing her anymore like the way I missed her before. Is it because of my wife or is it because I have already moved on?

'Ah, you've moved on. Finally man, you're done with her' a part of me whispered. Yeah, I've moved on after a long time. I finally have someone and I guess that's what I needed to focus on.

A soft knock from the door brought me back to my senses. Karen entered as she heard me say "come in". "Sir someone wants to talk to you," she said.

"For what?" I asked.

"I don't know sir. She just want to talk to you in person," she replied.

"Let her in," I said. Karen left the office. After sometime, the door opened and the woman I've been thinking a while ago appeared.

She immediately walk towards me. I was about to stand from my seat when she throw herself on my lap. "Hey, honey. Why are you not in your house?" she asks.

"Can you stand up and keep a distance from me," I said. She pouted. If only I'm the Caden that she once dated, I would just kiss her. But, no. I'm the Caden that he once hurt.

"Don't you miss me?" she said in her very sweet voice. I just stared at her and heaved a deep sigh.

"See, you missed me. I knew it," she cheerfully said.

"Get out of my lap, Raine. I'm serious about it," I replied making her frown. She stands up and walk towards the couch that is near the door.

"Why are you even here?" I asked.

"I wanted to pay you a visit because I miss you. I wanted to be your girlfriend again."

"Girlfriend? Can you hear yourself? I'm already married and we are living at the same roof. How can you be my girlfriend again?"

Raine is my ex-girlfriend. She's been my girlfriend since my second year in college. I was too in love with her that I didn't even believe my friend Jake that she's cheating on me. It was only two years after my graduation and after I took over the company that I discovered the fact that Raine is really cheating on me. I even caught her on the spot making out with a guy.

"I can be your mistress if you want," she replied making me look at her. Raine is still beautiful as she is but a behind that beauty is a b***h and an evil woman.

"No, I cannot just hurt my wife like that."

"Really? Even if your marriage is just an arranged marriage?" she said as she smirks at me.

"What's the big deal if my marriage is just an arranged marriage?"

"Caden, we both know that you don't want the marriage. Don't you miss your life before marriage? A life full of party?" she said.

I don't know what I should tell her. I cannot deny the fact that I miss hanging out with some women in the club. But I set aside all those kind of things when I married Sabrina. Sabrina became the center of everything that I do. I may not tell her about it but it's the truth. I'm already falling in love with her. That's what I realized just after Raine entered the office.

"Can you please get out of my sight Raine. We're done. Everything between us is done. I'm married, just go on with your life and don't drag me down," I replied.

She stands from her seat. She clapped her hands. "Now I've proven the fact that the arrogant, and bossy Caden Stewart is super in love with her wife."

"Yeah, I am," I confidently replied. What's wrong with it? I'm her husband and I cannot stop myself from loving my wife.

"Hmm, let's see. Let's see about it. But I'm telling you, I'm still here Caden," she said smiling at me mockingly.

"What do you mean?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Caden, you're only mine. I know that you really don't love her like the way you love me. I can see it. I'll do anything to make you realize that I'm still the one that you love," she replied.

"Let's see. What can you do? Destroy my image to my wife? Or what?"

She looked at me in the eye. Silence filled the room until I decided to say something. "Raine, just leave me alone. This is the last time that I'm going to talk to you," I said to which she just smiled.

"Fine, I'm going to leave for now. But, remember, I'm going to do anything - anything Caden. Anything to get what I have before. I'll have my own way to get what I want," she said before she find her way out of the office.

I heaved a deep sigh after that talked with Raine. I wasn't expecting her presence after all this years.

I called for Karen and told her not to let Raine enter my office if she comes back again. Karen know who Raine is. I don't have time to talk to her. She might be the reason why my marriage will be broken. Now that I've realized something that I think would change me forever.

After that encouter with my ex, I called Sabrina and asked how she is and was glad that she is fine.

Throughout the day, I busied myself doing paper works. I'm thankful that I don't have any meetings for tonight. I can go home early and be with Sabrina.

It was already past six when I parked my car in front of my house. I climbed out and walk inside the house. I saw Magie in the living room again, reading a newspaper. "Caden, you're finally home!" she said.

"Yes, why?" I asked.

"Uhm, I'm really waiting for you," says Magie. Magie is a cheerful woman and I can't see that this time.

"Why are you waiting for my arrival?"

"Raine was here this morning and is looking for you. Is it true that you ask her for a date?" she asks making me shake my head.

"Why would I do that?"

"That's what she told us this morning."

"That woman. I didn't ask her for a date. I will never do that!"

"And you don't need to explain to me. The person who needs your explanation is your wife."

I furrowed my brows. What is going on now? "Why would I explain to my wife?" I curiously ask. I called her while I'm in my office but she didn't say anything. She was even happy while she's talking to me.

"She's quite upset after she talked with Raine this morning. Just talk to her. She didn't even eat for lunch and just busied herself reading those files in her room," Magie replied.

"Is she in her room right now?"

"Yes," Magie replied making me nod. I went upstairs to my room. I take a shower before I went to Sabrina's room. I knocked for almost five times but no one answered me. That's when I invited myself in.

Sabrina is not in her bed. I look around only to see her at her bedrooms balcony. The door to the balcony is wide open so I just stepped in there. She's too engrossed with her thoughts again that she didn't notice my presence.

"Sabrina," I said grabbing her attention.

She looked at me. "Why are you here?" she asks.

"It's because this is my house and my wife is in this house," I replied. She bit her lower lip and turned around. Now, her back is facing me.

Without even thinking twice, I hug her from behind. "Don't you want to see me?"

"I- I thought you're having a date with Raine," she said making me smile. I can sense jealousy in her voice.

"Do I smell jealousy in your voice?" I asked her teasingly.

"What if I'm jealous?" she asked as she face me. My hand is still on her waist.

"I would be very much happy knowing that you are jealous," I replied.

"Happy? Why would you be happy?" she asked making me smirk. I was about to open my mouth to tell her that I'm happy after knowing that she's jealous because I already love her but a part of me is telling me not to tell the truth.

"It's because that's the reason why you are my wife," I said. She nodded and hug me.

"I'm jealous because I love you Caden. I learned to love you," she said as she put her head on my chest. I kissed her on her hair. How could I tell her what I really feel for her if something is stopping me to do it?
