It's morning now and Lysander is still in my room. I cannot believe he spend the whole night in there. At first he kept banging on the bathroom door, asking me to come out. But I hadn't bothered to reply because to be honest I had been afraid. I still am, yeah I'm admitting that, the way he had reacted and tried to bite me, it scared me shitless and I cannot believe that I tried to seduce him. Me the virgin. I cannot believe it. But thank goodness it worked, it distracted him long enough for me to get away. What I had not anticipated was Lysander spending the whole night in my room. I thought he was going to get frustrated and then eventually leave but damn the man was stubborn, he really wants to make me his. And now I'm scared to face his anger but most importantly I'm afraid that he is going to end up biting me against my will. I really don't want this half mate bond but I guess I'll have to worry about that when I get out of here because I'm really cold. Like really really cold my nightgown wasn't so enticing anymore. It just made me freeze faster. Well in my defense when I had gotten into the bathroom I was just trying to get away from Lysander. I hadn't thought things through or this far. Resulting me in shivering like a leaf. After all I'd spend the whole night in here. Not to mention how hungry I am. I only have water in here and now I'm starting to feel stomach cramps because of the hunger. I think that's what Lysander is waiting for he wants me to be so hungry and cold that I would eventually go out and face him. But the joke is on him because he's underestimating how much I don't want to see him much less him biting me. Maybe i can just let him bite me. Damnit Onic, don't think like that you know if you let him bite you, you be tied to him forever. My conscience chided me. And to be honest I'm not ready to be tied to Lysander or any man forever.

"Veronica!" Lysander bellows from the other side of the door. "How long are you going to stay in there? Get out here now!"

"Oh, so you know my name." I retort. Leave it to me to point that out when i have much more serious issues to focus on.

"I'm giving you five minutes to come out here or I'm going to break the door open." Lysander says in an eerily calm tone, which disturbs me more because Lysander is never calm. At least when he is talking to me. Which means he is now serious. He was going to break the door open. To be honest I'm kind of shocked that he waited until now to open the door. I mean to break it open. With the way he had been banging on it all night, I thought it was going to break but for some reason he hadn't. Maybe he is not that far gone, he still has some restraint or he was not that angry anymore that he would try to bite me again. Could I really talk some sense into him? Honestly I don't think it will work. Deep down I know that he won't let me go. He's so fixated in this mate thing that I think whatever I say would just annoy him or edge him to bite me. So operation talk some sense into Lysander is a no. I need a plan B. First I need him to get out of my room so that I will have all the space to myself and proceed to make my plans.I needed to find a way to escape and time was running out because Lysander was losing his patience with me. Something tells me that if he tries to bite me again, he will succeed and I cannot let that happen. But i cannot very well make the plans while he is hovering so close to me, not to mention the hunger and cold.

"Veronica!" He growls again banging on the door.

"Lysander can you please just leave me alone." I say in a frustrated tone.

"Woman I will not leave you alone. I think I told you that the first time I brought you here." He gripes.

"Oh so we're back to woman now, no more Veronica." I whisper to myself. Lysander growls from the other side of the door. Oops i guess he heard me. Forgot about the super hearing.

"Can you at least come outside and have a meal. You've been in there all night." Lysander asks quietly. I have to say this man is so confusing. One minute he's growling and the other he is calm. So damn confusing or maybe he is bipolar. Can Alpha werewolves get to be bipolar? What am I thinking? I have serious issues at hand. Focus Onic. Could Lysander be trying to lure me out by suggesting food because I know he knows that I'm hungry. With the super hearing he has, I'm pretty sure he heard my stomach growling multiple times.

"Are you going to try and bite me again if I come out?" I ask him.

"Probably." He answers in a quiet voice. So quiet that I think he had answered that for his ears alone and not meant for mine.

"I heard that." I bellowed.

"Can you just come out and eat. I'm beginning to worry about you." Lysander says. He didn't respond to my bellowing. Damn this man. My stomach growls again. I really need food.

"If you're worried about me can you at least go out of my room so that'll be comfortable in coming out." I ask him quietly. And he doesn't respond. There is silence for few seconds. Please, please, please let him agree.

"Fine." He says in a growl. "I'm going out but I'll be back because one way or another I will make you mine!" And then I heard the footsteps. I guess he was moving towards the door, a few seconds later my door is opened and closes signifying that someone had going out. Thank goodness. But could I risk it? could Lysander have fooled me by making me think that he had gone out while he was still in in my room. I guess sometimes you just have to take a leap of faith and I'm just too hungry and too cold to care. But what if he's still in the room Veronica? my conscious asks. Well damn you consciousness I'm hungry and you aren't going to just give me ideas when you aren't in an induced hunger pain. Yeah truth be told I was a little in pain it's hunger after all. I get up from where I was sitting down and open the bathroom door slowly. I take a peek in my room and hey surprise Lysander isn't there, so he really went out. I run straight for the main door to my room and lock it. Bolted all three locks. A girl can never be too safe. I go back into the bathroom, take a shower and get dressed quickly. Now that I'm not cold anymore i was thinking of a plan to get some food. I'm still hungry. Can i manage to go to the kitchen or at least look for Chico without running into Lys? What if Lys is out there? Who am I kidding? Of course he is. Probably waiting for me to come out. Because he knows very well that there is no food in my room.

The banging on the door startles me. Of course that banging isn't like Lysander's. So it means it's someone else on the door. But even knowing that didn't stop my heart from jumping out of my chest. With all the banging Lysander has been doing all night, my heart still hasn't settled.

"Who is it?" I ask.

"It's me Chico, I've brought you some food." A female voice says. And i recognized it to be Chico's for sure. Thank goodness for this girl. How did she even know that I was hungry. Quickly I rush to the door and open it and there she is holding a tray full of food. Fried chicken, pasta, soup, strawberry pastries and juice. I take it out of her hands and proceed to go and sit on my bed.

"Chico please lock my door." I tell her and she does as I ask quietly.

"Is something wrong Luna? why are you locking the door? it's daytime and besides no one will budge into your room. The Alpha will kill him or her." Chico says.

"I know that. It's just that I feel safer with the door locked." I tell her quietly. I didn't want to tell her about the fight I had with Lysander and how I spend the whole night in the bathroom. And that I was trying to literally run away from him or not wanting to be his mate. I just feel like those issues were between the two of us. If i manage to escape Lysander can tell his people about it but for now it will be between us.

"No one would hurt you Luna. No one would dare. I can assure you. There's no need for you to be worried about danger when you're surrounded by your pack."

"But this isn't my pack Chico. You people are just strangers to me and you cannot ask me to trust all of you just like that." I gripe and snap my two fingers together to emphasize my point.

"I guess we can't ask you to trust us that quickly but in time I hope you'll be reassured that you will always be safe here and everyone respects you despite you being mysterious and mischievous." She goes on. If I didn't know any better I would say she was smiling.

"I'm not mischievous. Mysterious maybe but mischievous definitely not." I reply.

"I can assure you my lady that you are mischievous. Dare I say that the Alpha is in for quite a ride."

"Well what makes you think that I am mischievous?" I ask.

"Well my lady you did prank the Alpha and all his men. You literally colored all of them pink. No one would dare to do that to one of the men let alone the Alpha. I swear I really enjoyed to see the startled look the Alpha had, like he can't believe what had happened. But for a moment I had worried that he was going to kill you but then I thought well you are the Luna and the worst he can do is get angry with you but he was not going to kill you or do any some sort of harm unless if he's punishing you sexually." She says that last part with red stained cheeks. Oh no, I was not going down that road with Chico. I'm not going to talk about my s*x life with her. What if she goes and tells the Alpha or worse, the women in the pack. No no no but I couldn't just say no to her I can maneuver her thou.

"Are you sure you want to talk about my s*x life Chico?" I ask quietly, mostly trying not to burst out laughing by the way her eyes widened.

"No Luna, forgive my foolishness please." She says blushing furiously. Damn if I didn't know any better i would say Chico was also still a virgin. Because the way she was blushing I think she was trying to find somewhere to hide. Probably wishing the floor to open up and swallow her whole. I feel myself starting to chuckle and she blushes more.

"Don't worry Chico. I'm not going to tell you anything of the sort. You can relax." I tell her. "By the way where is the Alpha? Is he here?" I ask.

"No my lady the Alpha went out. Apparently there was some kind of emergency with some werewolves. I'm not really sure about the details but him and some of his men went out.

"Are you sure Chico?" I asked again. A girl can never be too careful. She might be lying to cover for her Alpha. After all she does obey him.

"I'm very sure Luna. He went out. I even saw him and some of the men driving the vehicles going out." She replies.

"Okay thank you. You can now go." I say to her. Its time for me to prepare my second and third pranks. I need to hit Lys when he will be distracted. Could i be chewing more than i can chew. Of course not. My name is Onic and i wont stop trying to escape from Lysander so that i can go back to my family.
