I leave her room walking very fast. Thou if anyone else saw me they wont be able to tell that i was running away from someone. Me! Running away from that little hellion. Inconceivable!. But it was still happening. If im not careful enough, she was going to drive me insane. I know force feeding had not been the way. But she had made me angry by refusing to eat not to mention the porridge she threw at me. Un-f*****g-believable. No one threw things, let alone food at me. I had a strict rule among The Blood Moon pack against wasting food. Many packs out there were struggling with what to eat and one should be always be grateful for having something to eat. I know my pack is grateful especially those that ran away from my former pack The Red Cliff. The elders there are just evil. They starve half of the pack when they start to get suspicious of anyone who might want to challenge them. The suspicions come one or twice per month. Paranoia if you ask me. And also they knew that installing fear would help them to an advantage. Who would dare attack something they are afraid of. But my female, Veronica, not that i would call her that. I liked the sound of my female better. Thou her name sounded good too. When she had managed to throw that bowl of hot porridge on me, i had been so surprised with that little action. Which had quickly turned into anger. The hellion had good survival instincts i will give her that much because when she had seen my expression she had quickly run out of the room, leaving a strawberry scent behind her. It had been good that she had fled because if not, i would have f****d her senseless without even preparing her. Yeah i was a psycho like that and i liked things a little different. Mostly i was relentless. But she was my mate, i didn't do love or hope for it but i wanted my mate to rule by my side. My real mate. Someone i could trust without question.

I have a feeling its not going to be easy with this one. She has mischief glowing in her eyes. The kind of mischief that would drive me out of my mind if im not careful. When i had spotted her in that restaurant, i had felt time slowing down and almost lost my balance when her scent hit me. It had been so strong that for a moment i wondered if i had mistaken it. Because no scent was like hers. Thank f**k my two other friends Thane,the vampire king and Cree the gargoyle king had also been smitten with the other two. So we had formulated a plan to kidnap them. Hence resulting in this situation. What had possessed us to do that. After all we were the most three feared kings in our supernatural world. There must be a rule book somewhere advising not to stoop that low. Not that we would give a f**k. Kidnapping the women had bruised our ego's a bit but we each had a reason to do what we did. And given a second chance we would still kidnap them again without hesitation. When i had looked into her eyes i could just tell that she had a strong will and would not just come with me if i had asked nicely. She would have probably told me to shove the request up my ass. And Thane's female had cemented that theory when she had actually snapped and refused to tell the freaking vampire king here name. Unheard of!. The end justifies the means right, even thou i ain't seeing the kind of end i want yet.

The little hellion had made me choke her a little bit tighter when she had declared that she didn't want to be my mate. And i wanted her to be my mate. To complete the bond. That's why i had threatened to forcefully half mate her. I had not been joking. I would do it, if she continues to resist me. She was mine and i was never letting her go. She was gonna have to get used to it.

Later through the day im walking towards the shade were my men and i hold some of our meetings. We are werewolves and we like nature. Sometimes being couped up inside for hours drove us stir crazy so centuries ago i had made a plan to create a space outside. So that even if we spent hours in a meeting at least we would not go stir crazy. Being surrounded by nature helped a lot. I had named the place The shade. Security was tight there. No one was allowed in without my permission. I had avoided going anywhere near the little hellion all day. And if im being honest i missed her a little. How could i miss her, when i dont even know her properly. No wonder they say the mate bond was intense and unnatural. It was absolutely ridiculous that i would miss someone who i haven't spent three days with. The mate bond was a gift from the moon goddess, she had granted it to at least give us a chance to be with that one person who will know you for you and be with you through it all. Why was i even thinking about the little hellion? I needed to focus on the upcoming meeting. There were a few issues mostly concerning the Red cliff pack. The Elders were starting something. I wasn't sure what it was but i was certain i was their main objective. After all i was the one that got away and managed to start my own pack. Which is strong enough to attack theirs. I quickened my steps so that i would get to the shade already.

"Alpha! Alpha!" A little boy's voice called my name, halting me instantly. Had something happened? With the Elders brewing something, anything can happen. I quickly looked at the direction were the voice had come from. I exhaled calmly when i noticed that it was just Julius. The seven year old boy. He was a bundle of joy but sometimes i avoided him because he talked so much that one day im sure he will talk me to death.

"What is it Julius? Im busy." I snapped at him. Yeah i was a jerk. And i didn't know how to speak to children properly. Despite being among them for centuries. Not that me snapping had fazed the boy. He stopped a few feet away from me, his smile still in place. I could see his mother standing a few feet away from us, her head bowed down. She was human and she looked troubled everytime her son would engage me in a conversation. After all i was the fearsome Alpha of the Blood Moon Pack.

"I wanted to ask permission to do something."

"What?" I said bringing my eyes back to the boy. I wouldn't want Julius mother to piss her pants, after all i knew it was not her fault. Even thou she was human, she was mated to one of my trusted men Darius. Which made Julius a high breed. Half wolf and half human. So he was really quick on his feet when he put his small mind to do something. Mostly asking me for permission to do ridiculous things.

"Can i go and play in the river? Mom said i had to ask for your permission."

"No!" I quickly snapped at him again. What if he drowned in there? Im sure his mother had the same concerns hence why she said to ask for my permission because she knew that i would refuse and then Julius will be forced to obey me. Since he wanted to be my beta one day. His words not mine. Kids!.

"Then can i climb a tree to try and catch a bird. I really really need one."

"Why the fuc.....ooomph." I could not finish my question because someone had punched me in the kidneys. Punched me? Who would dare? I went to turn around so that i could punish the person who had dared to punch me when a familiar strawberry scent reached my nose. Oh no! . What was she doing out here? How did she even find me or get out of her room? I could feel my briefs starting to get a little tighter. Just great, how was i going to conduct a meeting when i was thinking about f*****g her senseless.

"You cannot swear in front of children." She scolded me, coming to stand by my side. "Lysander."

"What are you doing out here? I gave specific orders to my men not to let you out of your room."

"Alpha the birds please." The little tyke whinnied. I was about to snap at him again when the little hellion beat me to it.

"Why do you need a bird sweety?" She asked kneeling down to match his height. Julius's eyes brightened. I guess he was a man after all and my little hellion was very beautiful. I barely managed to stop myself from hulling her back up and into my arms. I did not like how the boy's eyes had lightened up. Absolutely ridiculous, i could not be feeling jealous over a seven year old boy. I clenched my fists a bit tighter and focused on my breathing. I needed to calm the f**k down. What was the matter with me?

"Who are you?" Julius asked.

"Im Veronica and you?"

"Im Julius. Can you be my girlfriend? You are really pretty." He said his cheeks reddening a bit.

"She cannot be your girlfriend because she is my mate." I growled enough that Julius's smile deemed. The little hellion glared at me.

"Dont mind him sweety. Tell you what, i will think about it. For the mean time i want to know why you wanted a bird?" The little hellion said,focusing back on the boy.

"Because i want to play with it." Julius replied beaming once again.

"But why, dont you have friends?" She asked. I could not believe i was standing here listening to these two talking about birds. When had my life became this weird?

"I do but sometimes they are annoying and wont listen to what i say." Julius finished that last part with a pout that the little hellion chuckled. Making my heart flutter with something i did not want to name.

"Tell you what, i will try to catch one with you tomorrow. Right now i want to talk to the Alpha."

"Its a date!" Julius exclaimed. Im pretty sure his mouth was going to tear from all that smiling.

"Its a date." The little hellion agreed. And kissed him on the cheek. My blood started to boil a bit. How dare she arrange a date when she was refusing me? Yes, im being unreasonable, Julius was just a child and there was no need for me to feel jealous of him. Julius ran off to his mother. Chatting her ear away, im pretty sure he was gloating about the date he had with my mate. My mate, mine!.

"Go on a date with me right now." I said when she turned around to face me. I so did not mean to say that but the words just came out.

"No." She replied frowning at me. She did not even think about it. She can be so stubborn sometimes.

"Why? You agreed to a date with Julius."

"Well i dont like you and Julius is just too cute, most importantly i like him."

"I will make you like me by the end of the date." I said taking a few steps closer to her.

"Still no. Can i have a tour? I promise i wont try to escape." She asked changing the topic.

"Well you are already out here. You can have your tour but i cannot go with you i have a meeting i have to attend. And if you try to escape and by some miracle you succeed. I will find you. I will always find you. You cannot get away from me." I turned away from her, not giving her a chance to say something sassy and infuriate me further. I continued with my journey before i was rudely interrupted. "Female,how did you get out of the room? You didn't seduce my men into allowing you to pass, did you?" I asked, turning around to face her once again. Giving her a warning glare that she better not say yes.

"I can do that? Cool." She replied between smiles. A freaking gorgeous smile. How can she smile about seducing other man. I could feel my blood starting to boil. How dare she even think of seducing another man? In quick strides i was in her space,grabbing her arms tightly.

"Lysander let me go." She pleaded. "Its rude to grab a woman. What's wrong with you?"

"If you dare seduce one of my man. Or any man. I will kill him." I growled at her. "Now answer my damn question. How did you come out of the room? Didn't my man try and stop you?"

"Fine, i wont seduce any man. Yet. As for your man, they told me that you would castrate them if they allowed me to go out. Politely i informed them that if they didn't let me pass, i would be the one to castrate them."

"And they let you pass?" I ask with a shock filled voice. My man could not have been scared of this little hellion of mine. No way. They were centuries old, fearsome and more experienced.

"I guess they were more frightened of me than they were of you." She said squeezing herself out of the grip i had her. "And now im going on that tour. Thank you for allowing it by the way." Before i could respond or ask why she had that mischievous glint in her eyes. She turned around and fled. She was definitely up-to something. No worries,she will soon learn that she is here to stay with me forever. For now i had a meeting to attend.

"Alpha the elders are definitely up-to no good. There have been reports of missing werewolves in other small packs. And the werewolves are never found." Luke said. He was one of my beta's. The other one was Coal. These two men were my best friends and beta's. I had met them shortly after i had ditched the The Red Cliff pack. They had offered me shelter. We hit it off from then on and started The Blood Moon pack together. I trusted them with my life.

" I agree. They are definitely up-to no good. At best they are holding these werewolves hostages and making them their slaves and at worst they are killing them. Either way isn't good." I said.

"So what do we do?" Coal asked. "The other small packs are reaching to us for help despite being afraid of you. I guess they are more afraid of the elders. Because even thou you are fearsome, you have honor and the elders are just pure evil." He shudders mockingly.

"We will help them because this is also our problem. For some reason i cant shake the feeling that the elders are making up their way to me. But we cant take them in. You know i dont trust anyone easily. And i trust everyone in my pack, but adding a few packs wont be good for anyone."

"What happens if other werewolves go missing?" Luke asks this time.

"I think the houses on the east side needs to be finished soon. If things escalate, we will move the small packs there. They will be far away from us not to cause any problems but near enough to be protected. And most importantly they will be inside The Blood Moon pack." I said looking around seeing all twenty of my most trusted men nodding to agreement. "Jericho, how long will it take you to finish building the few houses that are left?" I direct the question to the builder in my pack.

"A week or two max Alpha. Most of the houses are complete." Jericho answered, bowing a little.

"Okay. Now that we have taken care of the issue of the shelter. I want to know why Liam and Ezekiel let Veronica out of her room, when i specifically ordered you not to let her go anywhere?." I growled. The idea that she somehow seduced them returning back to me in full force. "Did you disobey my orders?" I continued. And everyone was now at attention. They know i never tolerate insubordination, ever.

"No Alpha. We did not disobey you. We would never." Ezekiel replied bowing, in a show of respect. Succeeding in calming my anger with that one statement.

"So what happened then? How did she escape?" I persisted

"Alpha,we told Miss Veronica that she wasn't allowed to go outside and if we allowed her to, you would castrate us." He said, a red color staining his cheeks. "Im embarrassed to say, before i had finished telling her that statement she had moved so fast and had the both of us on the ground in less than a second. I still do not know how she managed to take the both of us down so easily."

"She managed to take you down?" I asked in shock. That was new. No one got the better of my men. Even when they are distracted they are alert. To think that my little hellion had managed to take these two down, was really something. Who the hell was this girl?

"Yes Alpha." Liam answered this time. "And that's not all, after we were down she had somehow intercepted both of our pocket knives. Threatened us too."

"Threatened you? What did she say? She is just a wee little thing. Please tell me you did not get scared of her threats."

"Well, she put the knives on our manhood's, and said that she might not be able to castrate us but she sure as hell could cut our junk off, if we dare to try and stop her again. Her words. We were so shocked that we remained stuck. And yes Alpha we also got scared. A man's manhood is everything to him. Imagine not having it anymore. Its a fate worse than death." Luke said in a pained voice. I still in shock and suddenly, everyone of us broke in laughter.

"Oh my goodness. I really want to meet this mate of yours Lysander." Coal said, still wheezing with laughter. Him and Luke were the only ones who were allowed to call me by my name.

"Me too. I think things are going to get interesting around here." Luke agreed.

"Damn that woman." I said still chuckling. Only my chuckle to be replaced by another shock when suddenly there is a popping sound from above and all of us get sprayed with pink coloured water. Making everyone wet and pink. Who dared to do this? As if to answer my question, a female laughing voice comes from the door. I knew that voice. I should have known, she was the only who will dare to do this. Turning around to face the door, and there she was laughing her head off at me and my men. My men were still frozen with shock. Never have they ever been pranked. Shock waved off, anger replacing it. How dare she prank me? And have the guts to laugh at my face. Me the Alpha. As if she didn't have a care in the world. She blew me a kiss and fled. I will be be damned if i let her get away with this. I followed her out and she wasn't in sight anymore. That's alright, first i would go and get a shower and remove all the pink color sticking in my hair. Pink of all the colors. Infuriating! And then i will show her who she dared to mess with.
