CHAPTER SEVEN Cassidy ambled along the South Bank of the Thames, past the Oxo Tower. Her mission was to buy something for her lunch and get a puzzle magazine for Carol in the office who liked to do Sudoku on her commute home, but she couldn’t stop thinking about Leah. It was like an open sore, an ulcer inside her mind. As time went on, Leah’s absence and failure to communicate upset her more and more. Surely there must be some way of tracking her down?
