I was never in the dark about my life. I always knew who my birth parents were and why we had to be switched. But it didn’t make the pain of not knowing my real parents go away. The Royals treated me like their own child, but I was well aware of who I was. It stunned me that Railynn didn’t have a clue, it also broke my heart. It felt like my biological parents didn’t care about me. I went to their floor in the pack house when I found out they had never changed a thing, just hoping to find some type of information about them or even get a feel of who they were. I wondered if they kept the pictures Lilah sent or if it was all for nothing. I wished I knew more about them. I often wondered what they were like. It killed me to know that they died before I could ever meet them.
