I've always been fond of Callie, even my wolf Molly has been weirdly overprotective of her. At one point, I even believed that she could be my mate. Until she met Jax, we thought that it was for her happiness. Then Gunner showed up somehow being her second mate when second chances hadn't been heard of in over a century. Maybe, as a Goddess, you can have more than one mate if you choose to. I am not sure.
I can't say I wasn't stunned to witness what I saw, because believe me I was. It may have embarrassed me, but I also can't say I wasn't a little turned on. I, however, know it was not Callie but her wolf that was speaking those words to me. If Callie was attracted to me, something would’ve happened by now. However, there is another issue I have. How do I explain to Callie
