Chapter 4

" Taylor "

Tonight was beautiful, making love to Duncan was amazing. He was so gentle, at least we were each other first. 

Burt wants Duncan's Mate to be a strong she-wolf. He said since I am human that I am not fit to be Luna. He has no idea what I'm capable of doing. she is thinking as she changes into a pair of blue jeans shorts and an orange tube top. Tay packs the rest of her things in a pink and white duffle bag.

Taylor picks up the envelope with the letter that she wrote Duncan in it. "I going to pop into his room. Then leave it on his pillow, while they're outside." She is thinking.

When she walks downstairs. Her father is standing at the bottom of the stairs. He is fully dressed with a Starbucks cup,  a Coke, a club sub sandwich, and a bag of chips from Subway in his hands. "I put more gas in your SUV and picked you up something to eat. I don't want you stopping anywhere before daylight." Her father said as they are walking to the garage. Zach put her food into her SUV. He pulls her into him, hugging her. "He didn't hurt you tonight did he?" He asks looking his daughter up and down

" No father, he didn't." She said smiling. "How does he know that Duncan and I made love? I didn't tell him that I planned on making love to Duncan tonight." Taylor is  thinking

"That's good. Did you leave the note?" Zach ask her

"No, not yet that's my next stop," she said looking down.

Her Father nods his head

"Writing this letter was the hardest thing I ever wrote. " She is thinking, as she is looking at her father.

"Let me know when you get there. I wish you would fly instead of drive." Her father said looking at her

"I need some me-time. The drive would do me some good. It will give me time to figure out what I'm going to do next. Plus I will need a way to get around." Taylor said looking at her SUV

“See you in two months. Call me if you need anything." Her father said as he hands her his cell phone.

Taylor enters her new phone number in his phone. 

I love you and drive safely."    He said.  He hugs and kisses her.

"I love you too, father," She said as she steps into her SUV

Taylor parks in front of Duncan's house. Using her power named Fading to teleport to his room. She lays the envelope on his pillow. Tay had to see Duncan one more time before she left. There is a window open in his room. She looks out the window. Taylor sees that the yard is full of un-mated she-wolves. She sees Amanda, she is pushing other she-wolves out of the way so she can get closer to Duncan.

"All of them is wanting the love of her life as their Mate. Duncan is looking so handsome." Taylor is thinking.

Taylor notices he is sniffing in the air looking around. She couldn't watch it anymore. Tears are running down her cheeks, so she fades out of his room into her car.  She is crying as she drives off.

" We knew this morning was the last time. that he would wake up in each other arms. I was hoping he wouldn't find his Mate so quick." Taylor is thinking as she wipes the tears off her cheeks.

"Duncan"

Making love to  My Tay was amazing. I can't see myself with anyone else.  When my father called me ordering me to come home. I saw the hurt in her eyes. I didn't rush leaving her. We made love in the shower. I didn't want tonight to end. 

I hate knowing she is hurting. I wish I could take away all of her pain. She said I was her first, last, and her in-between.  She's all those to me. I will never make love to anyone else. I told her never to tell me bye. When she said bye. It felt like my heart had stop beating.

Now here I am standing outside with my father, mother, and Ashton. Seeing if any of the members is my mate. For a few minutes, I smelt cinnamon rolls and chocolate. I was prepared to reject her. But then the scent fades away. I didn't care what my father said about it. I was going to reject her.

I wanted so bad to go to Taylor. I haven't slept alone in years. So I just went to my room to go to bed. There is an envelope on my pillow. It's Tay's handwriting. I thought it was going to be a birthday wish or a love letter. I never expected a goodbye letter.

My Dearest Duncan,

I have loved you all my life, I will love you till the day I die and even in death.

You will always be the only one I made love to.

I couldn't stay here right now. Seeing you with someone else would kill me. I'm not gone forever. I will be back one day. Don't ever forget me. I will never forget you.

Only Yours Tay

Duncan drops down on the bed crying, My Tay is gone. "I know that an  Alpha is not supposed to cry. But My Tay is gone." He is thinking as he mind-links Ashton to meet him downstairs.

"Where are we going?" Ashton asks as he is running downstairs.

"To her house to talk to her father. I can't believe she's gone" Duncan said running out of the house with Ashton running behind him.

" I told you to mark her. "  Ashton yells as he and Duncan shift. He and Duncan starts running into the woods.

They shift back into human form and dress in shorts and tee shirts that were tied around their leg.

When Duncan and Ashton are walking up the walkway Zach opens the front door. He has been waiting on Duncan and Ashton. He knew Duncan was not going to let Taylor just leave without coming to the house.   Zach hands them both a cup of coffee from Starbucks. They walk into the house

As soon as Duncan walk through the the door, he looks at Zach "Tell me where did Tay go?" Duncan Alpha commands him.

"I don't know where she went. All I know is that she left because she loves you. She didn’t want to be in the way of you being a great Alpha. But she will be back in two years." Zach said looking at Duncan

Estella is standing at the top of the stairs laughing softly. 

" I  should rip Estella's head off." Duncan is thinking as he is looking at her. "Come on Ash, let track her, " Duncan said running outside. 

He and Ash sniff the air. But could not pick her scent up.

"Damn it Taylor you cast a spell to cover your scent. She knew if she didn't I would track her until I found her." Duncan is thinking as he is still sniffing. "TWO YEARS. I NEED MY TAY NOW" He yells standing in the middle of Zach's yard.
