3rd chapter

*Flashback*

- Hey, Felicity! - Aron said.- Hey, Aron! Will you also be going to this school? - I asked.- Yes! Isn't that cool? We could end up in the same class. - Aron squealed like a girl.- Hey, calm down a little bit - I laughed.- I can't. I'm so excited! I'm going to the same school that my best and an only friend will be going to. - Aron said.- You're my best friend too. - I replied.*Now*

It's been 3 weeks since the accident in the cafe and it's my first day at the university. Thank God that Grace and Noah are also attending the same uni, so I'm not going to be that lonely. 

I, Noah and Grace walked into the hallway and they immediately started saying hi to everybody. I felt so awkward standing next to them and just watching.

- Who is this cute girl? - One of Noah's friend's asked.- This is Felicity. She's my best friend like Grace and she's the first year here, so be nice to her. - Noah explained.- Nice to meet you, Felicity, I'm Jake, Noah's friend - the guy said.- Nice to meet you too - I replied.That's how my whole morning until the first lecture went. I met about a hundred people. I don't know how Noah and Grace remember everyone's names. I can't even remember 20 of them and they know almost the whole university.

- Fel, I think that you should go to your first lecture. You go down the hallway, then turn right and it will be the first doors to the left. - Grace said and hurried off. - Yeah, what Grace said. Bye pumpkin, I will see you after this lecture. - Noah said.- Don't call me pumpkin, you sound like my mother. - I said and we started walking in different directions. He studies computer science.Okay, my first lecture is English literature and writing. I heard that the first years and the second years have it together.

When I walked into the room, everyone turned to me. I found an empty seat and sat down. A few seconds after I walked in my worst nightmare also showed up. What the hell is he doing here?!

I tried to hide my face and somehow become invisible and guess what? That didn't work. He immediately looked at me. Oh and did I forgot to mention that the seat behind me was empty. Of course, he sat behind me. Curse him. 

The lecture just started and I can't focus. I heard something about the first and second year's pairing up and writing a short book, but that's it. In the middle of the lecture, he started acting up. 

- Hey, Felicity, can we talk after the lecture? - He asked.- No - I replied.- C'mon, I beg you. - He started pleading.- No, and leave me alone. - Miss Brown, mister Smith, care to tell us what were you talking about? - Professor asked.- Nothing sir, it won't happen again. - I apologized.That asshole didn't say anything. I finally started paying attention to the lecture. 

- Now, let's pair you up. Remember that this task is to be completed by the last month of this school year.Wait what project is he talking about? The one where we get paired up and write a book?

- Ok, Drew Giles and Lynda Russo.The professor started naming the first and second-year pair's. There were two pair's left and I haven't been called out.

- Niall Talley and Mert Gamble. - And last are Felicity Brown and Aron Smith.This is not happening. I could see that Aron was smirking behind me. 

- Now there are still 20 minutes left, so you can start discussing your work with your partner. Oh and keep in mind, that this is your project, but you will also have normal lectures and homework. - Professor said.I raised my hand.

- Yes, Miss Brown.- Professor, can I talk to you for a minute? - I asked.- Of course - He replied. I could sense, someone's eyes burning holes in my back, but I didn't care.- I know that I may seem rude, but could you pair me up with someone else for this project? - I pleaded.- I'm sorry, miss Brown, but I can't. You need to learn how to work together with different people and I noticed that you and mister Smith don't get along. What happened between you two? - Professor asked.- It's a long story and I would like to keep it between me and him.- Of course, I will not push you. But don't let the thing that happened between you in the past affect your grades.- Yes, professor. - I replied and got back to my seat.I saw that Aron was smirking again.

- So, what are we writing about, partner? - He asked.- Don't get your hopes up. I'm best at writing romance, I don't know about you.- I'm also the best at romance - He replied.- Ok, oh and why the hell are you a second year and in this university? - I asked.- Well you know the fact that you forgot, that you took a year off or got held back is kind of strange. And I chose this university, um, because... - He stuttered - because, nothing, just forget it. - He said.- No, tell me. - I chose this university because it's closest to where you live and it had good reviews about English major. - He quickly muttered.After that, we didn't talk for the rest of the lecture and as soon as it was over, we quickly ran out. If I thought that the day in the cafe was the worst day of my life, I was wrong. What's the deal with him anyway? Like sometimes he's nice and everything, but sometimes he acts like a total asshole. 

- Hey girl, how was your first lecture? - Grace came.- It was, how to say it nicely, um awful. - I replied.- Why? What happened? - Asked Noah.- Oh, guess who is a second-year and studies the same major as me and we got paired up together? - I flipped out.- Hey, no need to take it out on us. But come here. - Noah said and hugged me.- Thanks, I needed it. - I said.- Ok, now let's get this day over with and we can go out in the evening - Grace said.- Okay - I replied.- Hey, don't be like that just because of that asshole. - Noah said.- You're right.The rest of the day went by quickly, I didn't see him at the university and I got to talk with Jake a little more. Turns out that he's quite a nice guy. 

After the day was over all of us, including Ryan, went to the cafe, because why not? Oh and because we have university tomorrow and Ryan has to go to work. In the middle of my hot chocolate, I got a text message from an unknown number.

"Meet me tomorrow at 6 p.m. in our place - Aron"
