Jake’s POV,

I don’t answer my phone anymore. But when it’s a call from Emily, I needed to answer it. maybe they rejected my resignation. “Jake? You did that?” her voice is full of rage. I know why she would be angry. Captain must be on her ass to make sure I won’t open my mouth further. At this point even my lied will be a universal truth.

“Can you stop? I did what was necessary. It was going to come out at a point. If rather than arresting me you guys were entailing the culprit, Stella wouldn’t have been dead. I will let the public know the truth.”

“Don’t think doing this will give you your job back.” I laugh aloud. She still doesn’t know what media and public can do. People crave to be work at times, this is the time.

“I don’t think anything. I’m just doing what I think can help me. And if you’re not going to help, you should stay away from this. I’m not doing it for anyone but myself.” I hear her sigh as I tell her that. “Whatever happens, I’m going to get my job back. And I’m going to be in this case.”

“If I was you, I wouldn’t be so messy and make things worse. There are a lot of other ways that are quiet and classy.”

“If you’re not helping, you shouldn’t get involved.”

“I’m telling you this because I want to help.”

“Then help me, and not sound like Captain.” She sighs again.

“Look for Kenna Crawford. She can help you. this is all I can help you with. Bye.”

Kenna Crawford? Robby Crawford’s wife. f**k, I completely got off the rails with that case. He was in the hospital and I haven’t heard a news of his passing, so he must be alive.

I should go see him.

I did as I thought, he was still in a weak state in his ward, well, just how he’s supposed to be really I don’t feel bad for his lifeless body. He’s getting what he deserves and then it clicked me. Why is he the only one who deserved to be in this state? Everyone who helped him, everyone in the footage should get the same fate too. everyone deserves their punishment. And if his chance of coming back to life is zero, so should be their all, now only I can find it, he Won't confess, he can't confess, we need proof.

Maybe there is something I’m missing, instead of recruiting force to look for this torture chamber, the place of his crime Captain halted all the activities relating to his crime’s investigation because he was in a coma.

Why? he should actually be trying to find more and more culprit for his promotions, rather he is doing nothing.

I have my laptop and it has all the footage copied that I seized from Robby’s house. if I watch and watch it, I might have a clue where this place is, because it isn’t that warehouse definitely. It’s someplace no one has ever been to, maybe it’s out of town. No, if it was out of town there will be enough evidences of him travelling. The only thing it could be is, a hidden place.
