Jake’s POV,

Xabert is talking with Mr Jones and I am just looking at the interior of the room. It was the same the last time we visited. The best part about this room is that it has a big frame of all four of us. It was from the time when Xabert took me to meet them for the first time.

It has a piano in the corner near the frame. Mr. Jones likes to play it for Mrs Jones. I stood up from the sofa and went to the kitchen to help Mrs Jones. She is good at cooking but still I should help her. There's no harm in helping her.

I went to the kitchen and saw her already preparing to serve the food there were maids who were taking orders from her on what to do.

The dining room here is huge and magnificent. It has lots of picture frame on the wall. They have many old photos. Some were of the time when Xabert's parents were young, some are their wedding pictures, some have Xabert as a new born, in some he is toddling, there are photos of his graduation ceremony all the way since he was a kid to his collage graduation.

The room has a big golden twilight chandelier hanging from the ceiling. It was really pretty. The table was huge itself. It was a rose wood table.

It is now just two days left for the meet and I am now preparing for it. Me and Xabert decided that we will spend some time there. It wanted to do some shopping there for my engagement party.

I've always heard about the ceramics that is made in Italy is invaluable. I want to buy something for my home. Since Italy is famous for food I am going to enjoy the food there as much as I can.

Xabert and me we both are foodies and we are in the same business. It could be a great exposure for us. And specially for me. I might get some inspiration there for some New recipes.

I met my mon last weekend. I wanted to tell her about me and Xabert getting engaged. I went her home, I didn't had much time in my hand. I gave my responsibilities to my sous chef and went to her for the lunch. I took lunch with me. My mom works as a social worker. She helpes people with mental health issues. She donates a good amount for their upliftment. She also spreads awareness in such issues.

I am usually really busy on the weekends. The restaurants are stuffed on the weekends.

And last week I also get invited on a cooking show as a judge and critique.

It is a show in which known persons like some celebrity or writer or singer or bloggers gets invited. And they're challenge to replicate some dish that is already made by a chef. They are given the recipes. And the chef would make that dish for them to taste then they have to copy the dish exactly as it is. In each episode they invite different chefs to give then the challenge and to judge whether the dish is just how they should taste.

I have been there before the show is pretty popular. It has many seasons. I've been there in the previous seasons. The show is fun. I made my special oyster infused with wine. It took me months to develop that recipe.

To be honest the contestants were really talented. They did a really good job with the dish. Out of the four contestants two of them were actually near the level of the taste required.

It is a really delicate dish. And practice is really important in it. But still they cooked really nicely. There presentation was also nice.

Anyways last week went by pretty fast. I was busy and so was Xabert. But we still tried to have at least one meal of the day together.

He usually stops by the restaurant for dinner or lunch. So that we can share a meal and spend some time together. He talks about the how to engagement party's arrangements are going. The party will be held in one of his hotel. But we are still skeptical about whether we should call media personnel or whether the party should be secretive.

But I think it's better to call the media, but they will come to know about it either way. Rather then creating a chaos later it's better to be pre planned.

I think his parents think the same thing. And he will be convinced soon.
