Jake’s POV
Something just ran through my mind, in a slow run in this numbness and lack of surroundings and caution of time, when everything around me is essentially dark and quiet, something that’s born inside me something I've never felt before. Like a secret I've learned to hide from myself, like I've been keeping it away for so many years. It wasn’t an unquenchable rage I was estrange to within myself, it wasn’t a deep disappointment to all the chances I couldn’t get, I wasn’t even fearful of losing it all, it was much deeper inside me, like a deep memory swimming into the deepest darkest corner of my existence that came to relive and craving to rise to the surface of me just now. this is too overwhelming and impossible to shake off.
