END OF BOOK STUFF
Welcome to my random musings, which may or may not contain typos… Okay, so I’m not entirely sure what went through my mind when I was writing this book. Sorry, Mum. It just kind of happened. Originally, it was just going to be a little novella about Augusta and Midnight, then Gregory appeared, and Ben became Mr. Darke, and somebody had to die because somebody dies in nearly all of my books. I just can’t help it. Even books that are mostly funny like Nothing but Trouble end up having a dark side.
You may have noticed I really struggle to conform to genre expectations too. I read all the craft books, those ones that tell me the rules like the hero and heroine must meet in the first chapter, that backstory can’t be in chunks, that I shouldn’t mix first and third person, th
