Violet's POV
I stared at my sister, confused. Her text had not said when she would come. I assumed it would be another day and that she would send that information. She must have sent the text right before leaving her pack or while on the road (I'm not sure how far away her new pack is).
"Cherri! I am surprised to see you," I said. She looked at me and smiled. Then she hugged me! I was shocked.
"Violet! Dear, sweet sister!" she exclaimed. "It's been an age since I've seen you."
"Yes. Over a month."
"Only a month? It seems like just yesterday." She looked at Peter and immediately walked over to him with her arms open to hug him. A part of me felt something that I had not felt in a long time. Was this jealousy? But she had only hugged him?
