The Alpha’s Rejected Bride

It’s been two days since I have set my eyes on the man that saved me, I can’t argue about it.

Each day I am scared that Tamlin would take me away but when I open the door, I found him outside, he has been there for two days.

I have no idea what his name is, I only remember him standing with Alpha Arnold.

Several omegas come and go into the house, presenting me with food and clothes and any basic need, I have never felt so important in my whole life.

Still I don’t want to jinx it.

It’s the morrow of the next day, a lady has picked out a black shirt and blue jeans, prepared breakfast and left.

After I was done eating, I heard the horn of a car outside.

I stepped out to find him leaning on his car.

Wearing a brown suit, he had a mild smile as he looked at him, I couldn’t help but stare. This man was divine.

I walked slowly towards him and he opened the door for me, I looked at him confused where we were going but I didn’t say a word.

I got into the car and he drove, after a couple minutes I could recognize the road ahead of us and my body tensed up.

My fear was once brought back to life, he was taking me back to the Dark moon pack, I began gasping for air, frantically looking for a way to escape when he held my hand.

He gently squeezed it and smiled at me once again,

Goddess what was happening? Is he selling me out after saving me?

That explains why he was out of town for two days, he was negotiating the terms to take me back.

I could already see the smug look on Tamlin face once he sees me, that look of victory that he had won and I had lost once again.

We arrived at the pack house and he stepped out of the car, I sat there refusing to move after he had opened the door.

“It’s going to be okay, I promise” the look in his eyes made me feel secure, feel safe.

That he wasn’t lying to me and I was indeed not in trouble.

“No one will take you away from me” he added, I felt pretty safe after those words, strange enough that it was from a man I met two nights ago.

He leaned down and kissed my forehead, that was when I felt it, a spark, not string enough to feel that he was my mate but enough to know that there was something between us.

Something yet to reveal itself.

I stepped out of the car, and followed him through those narrow halls.

We are seated in an office, waiting for Alpha Phil when the door burst open and Tamlin walked in.

He shot his eyes at me and I got goosebumps all over, I leaned towards Arnold, I could see the hatred in his eyes, as he looked at me.

He didn’t take his eyes off me, even after he sat down, with Arnold beside me, I glared back at him.

He wasn’t the only one with a suppressed rage within, I was the one who was tricked and betrayed.

The door opened and Alpha Phil walked in.

I unconsciously bow my head as he walked in and so did Tamlin, Arnold just crossed his legs and waited until he sat down.

“It’s good to see you Alpha Arnold” Alpha Phil stated.

“Same here” Arnold responded. A grunt escaped the lips of Tamlin, certainly pissed by the scene in front of him.

Arnold had his right arm around my waist, pulling me closer to him.

“I heard from my son what happened, my apologies for his rash behavior”

“Don’t apologize for me, he is the one that took something from me.” Tamlin cut off his father’s words.

“The apology has been accepted but it would be much better if I heard it from him” Arnold responded.

“Is it true?” Alpha Phil asked.

“Yes”

He responded, “She is my mate”

Tamlin sprung from his seat, “That’s a lie, she is not his mate, she is my mate”

A laugh almost burst out of my lips, there he was acting like I belonged to him when he cheated on me openly, he has declared my sister as his bride and showed no remorse about it, now here he was claiming I was his mate.

“Is this true Alora?”

I lifted my head to Alpha Phil.

This was the first time he had ever spoken to me, I nodded my head in response.

Scared of the words that could escape my lips, they would be nice words and all I wanted was to be away from the pack and Tamlin.

“She is lying, she is my mate. She doesn’t feel anything for him. Tell him the truth Alora” I watched Tamlin crash out, and it felt good to see him that way. To understand the pain of something being taken away from you.

“Silence Tamlin” Alpha Phil cautioned him back to his seat.

“I hope we have no more issues again” Arnold spoke staring right at Tamlin, “This is the last time you will see my mate, you do realize the consequences if you break our treaty” Arnold stated,

“Yes, we understand” Alpha Phil spoke.

Arnold nodded his head and stood up, he held my hand bringing me up to me feet,

“Then we will take our leave, we have a lot more to do” He said and we began moving towards the door.

The sound of a chair crashing in front of us caused us to pause, “You will not take my mate away from me, she is mine. If I can’t have her then you can’t” Tamlin burst, bones breaking as he shifted into his wolf in a fit of rage.

Before I knew it, he launched into the air and straight towards me.

I saw my life flash bearing my eyes.
