Domain’s POV Sleep had become a stranger to me. I sat in my office, the room lit only by the pale glow of the city through the floor-to-ceiling windows. My desk was a disaster of scattered papers, cold coffee cups, and my phone which was my lifeline to Ethan. Except it hadn’t rung. Not once. Every time, I swore to myself I would tear the world apart to bring him home. But the clock kept ticking, and still, there was nothing. Until the burner phone rang.
