Chapter 2

Rishi's Pov

" Thankyou", I said to the deal members who were congratulating me one by one on my achievement.

At last the Ceo of the singhania corporation came and congratulated me with a  handshake.

" congratulations Mr. Rishi, you have done a great job" he said.

I was really happy because I have been working on this project for the last 3 years and I finally did it.

Singhania corporations is one of the biggest comapnies of India and i just cracked a deal with his company, Oh god! I can't wait to tell her, i know she will be really happy, afterall she is the one behind all this, she always encouraged me at my worst, when I wanted to give up, I just want to see her face when I tell her this news.

" Ok Mr. Rishi, i'll take your leave now" Ryan said with a small smile.

"umm would you mind joining me on my  sister's engagement, we are having a function at my home and i'll be really glad if you can make it"

I don't know why I invited him but it just came out my mouth, maybe as a thankyou I invited him.

At first he protested a little but I convinced him.

" Ok I'll be there by 8"

He said with a small smile extending his hand for a handshake again.

" great" with this I did the handshake and left for the function.

Iam already 2 hours late, i had told her that I will be there by 5pm but its already 7. Oh god! She is going to kill me today.

But I love it when she is angry, when those plumpy cheeks turn red with anger she looks, more beautiful and cute.. God! I love her. She doesn't know yet but Iam gonna tell her really soon.

When I was about to reach I called her and she picked up aftet the 6th ring.

She must be busy in arrangements

The moment she picked up, she started yelling and threw a bomb of questions at me without giving me any chance to speak. But by this time I have reached home, the moment I enetered my house, out of all people my eyes landed on her.

She was looking breathtaking in that navy blue lehenga which Btw, I choose for her. And those little curls at the end were just enunciating her beauty!

   I slowly move towards her and stood behind her, she was busy in scolding someone, I guess that someone is me!

And I tapped her shoulder twice but she ignored me as I was still on the line but when I tapped her 3rd time, I guess she got irritated and turned around with a jerk, seeing me she lost her balance and was about to fall but I held her by her waist. Oh god! I can't describe this feeling of her in my arms, its just perfect.

"someone was missing me?" I asked with a smirk on my face but suddenly she got out of my hold and pushed me away!

" are you mad? You scared me!

When did you get here?"

"when you were busy scolding someone", I said with a childish face and she smiled and then I told her about the deal and she was very happy because she know how much of hardwork I have done to get this deal.

She hugged me and congratulated me and I wanted to hold her in my arms forever but I can't because its my sister's engagement and guests will be here soon.

When I was telling her about the inviting Ryan

singhania my phone rang and I went to a corner to attend the call but I saw her, she was happy for me but there was a pinch of uneasyness on her face.

One hour passed by, In this one hour we completed all the pending arrangements and recheck everything cuz nothing should go wrong.

We went to check shreya and I can't deny she was looking gorgeous. Sameer will surely be dead today.

Sameer is the groom, its a love marrige.

My mother was against this but I convinced her because I can do anything for my little sister plus, sameer is a good guy and I know he will keep her happy. My father is no more so there wasn't any problem from that side.

Time for ring exchange has finally come and saw my sister coming down the stair with Vani on her right and Neha (Vani's sister) on her left. I know its my sister's day but my eyes were stick on Vani. She was looking like a princess. As she was about to reach the bottom of the stairs, Vani's eyes met mine and she gave me a little smile while winking at me. Oh god! I will be dead today.

Everyone gathered at the stage but I was waiting for Mr. Ryan and others.

"where are they"?

Vani asked with worried expression.

" I don't know! He said he'll be here by 8 and its already 8:30" I said looking at the door.

"Rishi, we can't wait anymore we have to start the ceremony ok" she said.

" ya ok, you go I'll join you in 5 min"

When I was about go a voice stopped me.

"Mr. Rishi"

I turned around to see it was him, Mr. Ryan Singhania.

With a smile I wecomed him and we did a handshake.

"you have a great house Mr. Rishi"

He complimented my house with a warm smile.

" Indeed I have" I replied with amused tone.

We were talking of some usual things like business and all, when Vani suddenly came and held my arm,

"Rishi everyone is waiting, let's go"

She said with a low voice without glancing at Ryan,  I guess she was in hurry and was about to left when I held her wrist and pulled her back,

"What"? She asked with a surprised tone.

" umm Vani meet Mr. Ryan, the partner of my new project, and Mr. Ryan meet Vani, my best friend and the most important person of my life". I said pulling her towards me by her waist.

Vani's gaze shifted towards Mr. Ryan and with a warm smile she welcomed him.

"it's nice to meet you Mr. Ryan"

But he didn't reply, he wasn't blinking as if his eyes were stuck at something and that something was Vani, and I didn't like it!

So I tapped his shoulder to bring him back to his senses...

"Are you fine" I asked him

" ya pefectly" he said still looking at Vani,

"Its nice to meet you too".

He said with a smirk.

After that we all went to the stage, and the ring ceremony was completed, everyone was happy.

Shreya and Sameer were looking beautiful together.

We (me, Vani and neha) danced on almost every dance song of bollywood that we could and I saw Ryan continuously staring at Vani without even blinking.

Ok if he doesn't stop that, I will surely kill him. He may be the head of the deal but he can't go around staring on what's mine.

Suddenly the dj played a romantic song and Shreya was begging us (me and vani) to dance on that song and since its her day so her wish is our command!

Vani and I started dancing, I placed my hand on her waist and she placed her hand on my shoulder and we started moving along with the song. I saw Ryan,  asked Neha to dance with him and soon they were also on the dance floor. He was dancing with Neha but he was gazing Vani shamelessly, Vani didn't notice it because she was busy in dancing with me. Which is good BTW.!

But soon our partners got exchanged and I got Neha and Ryan got Vani.

Vani was a bit surprised but Ryan was smirking! What the hell is up with this guy!

He put his hand on her waist and I wanted to punch him but I controlled myself as I don't want to create any scene on my sister's big day.

Ryan was pulling Vani closer and closer but to my surprise, she wasn't protesting. Why the hell is she not pushing him away!

Now there bodys were just inches apart. I was so busy looking at them that I forgot that Iam dancing with Neha and due to my distraction, she was about to fall but somehow I managed to save her but suddenly there was a loud sound and after that sound the place was as quite as library and everyone was looking at something, when I followed their gaze and I was shocked seeing the site in front of me.

Vani slapped him, she slapped him so hard that her handprint was on his right cheek.

what the hell is going on?
