Anna's POV The first day off the pills, Evan is wrong in a way that frightens me, and it's the wrongness that gets us caught out. He warned me it would be like this, the in-between, the wolf waking frantic from being buried too long and the reins not yet in his hands. But knowing it and watching it are different things.
