Asha googled the website. Her hands shaking slightly, what if she already knew him? What if he was also attending the Capitol Academy. She really did not want to be forced choose another school.
She started browsing through the pictures. Nothing seemed to match her mark, hers had different writing, a stag and a rose in it. Maybe he died? I mean she could hope? Was that to mean?
While she was browsing a pop up came up on the site. "Prince Algween still in search for his fated one" Asha clicked on it. And there, her mark. covering the full screen in detail. A stag and a rose bounded together like and eternal dance, or was it a fierce battle?
For the longest time she just stared at it, motionless. Algweens's great, great grandfather was one of the people leading the war against the humans. The royal elf family did not have as much power as they used to, but they were notorious for fighting for elf right's and speaking out against mixed schools, sports, and neighborhoods. Asha got chills down her spine, Algween and her could never meet. She had to make sure of it.
The webpage had his picture further down. He was tall, muscular and had long blonde hair that was decorated with golden hair ornaments. His eyes, blue and sharp as ice. Asha suddenly felt heavy in her chest, like she was getting dragged down. Why did it have to be him? Why did it feel like she was loosing someone important? "Im sorry" she whispered to herself, and as she did a tear quietly fell down her cheek. "Im so sorry"
She quickly wiped away her tears, and typed in "Prince Algween school". She clicked on the first search result. "The prince have decided to take his studies abroad for the next year, taking majors in political studies and defensive magic" Asha sighted. He was going away, out of the country, far away from her.
She was safe.
So why did she feel so sad?
