…
Ela slowly opened her eyes and found out that her environment was strange. Her hands were tied, and she was lying on a cold floor.
She immediately remembered what had happened at the hospital, and her heart began beating so fast.
Who had she offended recently that would kidnap her in the hospital? Um, unless it was that...
Her heart trembled when she thought of the handsome face that she had briefly seen last night.
She began struggling. “Who is there?“ She called cautiously.
A few minutes later, some noise was heard at the door before it was opened.
Highly guarded, Ela looked at the man who walked in, and her expression slightly changed. “Who are you?“ She asked. She had never seen him before.
Joe walked towards her with a cold expression and pulled her up. “Why are you so anxious? You have not even seen the person you offended.“
Ela winced in pain when she was pulled out of the room. Her head was a mess. Someone she had offended? Who was that person?
“What do you mean?“ She asked.
Joe scoffed. “Tell him what he wants to hear if you don't want to implicate your sick mother.“
Ela felt angry. How could she tell him what he wanted to hear when she had done nothing wrong? And why were they dragging her mom into the mess?
However, she froze in place when she was pushed into a different room. She looked at the man seated, and her lips quivered.
“You!“ She said at last and rushed towards him. Even though her hands were tied, she still managed to hit the man twice.
The man stood up and looked at her angrily, while Joe hurriedly held her to stop her from attacking.
“You b*stard! You are so shameless!“ Ela shouted. Everything had happened so fast last night. She didn't have the time to vent her anger.
Mike's expression turned so cold as he stared at her. Was she pretending to have been wronged?
“Hold your tongue, young lady!“ Joe said it angrily. “My boss…”
Joe wanted to tell the girl that his boss was not the kind of man who would be interested in tiny and helpless girls like her.
His boss had someone he was waiting for. And even though Joe didn't like her so much, he believed that his boss wasn't someone who took advantage of just any girl.
“What?“ Ela raised her brows, her voice obviously bitter and filled with hatred.
Mike raised his hand and stopped both of them from speaking. “Are you done arguing?“ He asked, his voice devoid of any emotion.
Ela felt more wronged. “You deserve to die! Why did you bring me here?“ She asked.
With a sigh, Mike looked at her. He realized that the other party was a young girl, and he didn't want to argue with her. “Who is your master?“ He asked.
Ela wanted to continue cursing at him. However, she creased her brows when she heard his question.
“Mmh?“ She asked. She didn't understand what he meant. “Which master?“
Once again, Mike creased his brows. “Who sent you to my room?“ He asked.
Ela finally understood what he meant, and she sighed. “How shameless are you, Mister? You took advantage of me and think that someone sent me there? What for? Did you lose something?“
The look on Mike's face turned cold again. He thought that he was the one who had been taken advantage of!
"Just answer the question asked,” Joe said. He could see that his boss wasn't in a very good mood.
Ela was a bit confused. Why were they sure that someone had sent her there?
She seemed to have thought of something and looked at Mike ferociously. “What were you doing in Doctor Ren's room?“ She asked.
This man had not only taken advantage of her but also made her lose the only chance she had to meet with Doctor Ren.
Immediately, the expressions of the two people in the room froze. After a second, Mike nodded at Joe, who walked forward and pressed Ela into an electric seat that was in the room.
Ela wasn't stupid. She knew what they meant. She quickly struggled. “Why do you want to torture me? I was only looking for Doctor Ren! I didn't expect to see you there,” she said.
She had confirmed the door number again before she left the hotel in the morning. That was the room she had been informed about. She didn't know why there was this evil man in there.
Mike leaned closer to her and grabbed her throat. Ela shivered more. She knew that her situation wasn't good. Why did they become so cold when she mentioned Dr. Ren?
“I want you to tell me everything I ask if you want to leave this place alive. Do you understand?“ He asked coldly.
Ela immediately nodded her head. Seeing these two people, she felt scared. They wouldn't blink before they killed her.
“Why were you looking for Doctor Ren?“ He asked.
Ela coughed loudly when he released her neck. “I wanted to talk him into treating my mother,” she said.
Joe and Mike looked at each other. They seemed to have understood her. They had investigated her, and they knew that her mom was sick and that her situation was bad. It made sense if she was looking for a doctor.
But…
“How did you know that Doctor Ren would be there?“ Mike asked, his voice not very cold. How could someone easily guess Doctor Ren's whereabouts?
Ela tensed up. “Um, that doesn't matter. After all, they lied. But I didn't want to harm anyone.”
Mike's expression turned cold again, and he picked up a remote. “I will give you one last chance.”
