Bennie raced home as fast as he could. Skipping his usual shower, he had a quick wash and changed into some Calvin Klein casuals, emerging after only a few minutes to meet up with his family.
After a promising start, the weather had become dismal, and Harry and Tammy had been playing with toys and board games on the dining table, assisted by Tash. They had been sitting around for over an hour anticipating his return, and the hippos were no longer hungry. With Bennie"s arrival, they discarded their game half way through, Tash jumping up to enquire, “Can we go now? Are we all ready?”
In minutes, they were all strapped into the Range Rover and on their way to the club.
