Despite it being Sunday, we’re faced by traffic delays resulting from street closures because of a charity-sponsored fun run in aid of Dementia UK. The irony is not lost on me. It takes the best part of an hour for us to reach the city centre and find suitable parking near to my office. We get out, lock up and feed a parking meter. Approaching the front of the building, my nerves are on edge. I haven’t ever studied the building before, but I am doing so now; I’m hoping it might offer me some clue. The facade is modern, and it looks to be made from coloured, pre-formed concrete sections and glass.
